hey if i put a cold air in mine(im broke so i need to do it cheap)think i could dust even the most tuned honda's. i live around people who drive alotta imports and not a whole lotta Mopar's
We have thought about that, more along the lines of an old Fiat, or something that is very light. Problem... the RWD trans from the Genisis is $3500!!! Ouch!
We have broken 600 WHP mark and are now shooting for the 700 WHP mark. Built motor is sitting here, we just need more RPM to make better numbers.
We have been running around on the 500 WHP tune with pump gas and WI for the last 6 months with zero problems. I think it will hold the 600 WHP mark for some time if you have a conservative tune on the car.
this motor is stock internally though?!?!?! thats damn impressive if it is. we are trying to get my friends srt in the 500's now with hta 60mm turbo but dont want to blow the motor. this thing pulls so hard with new turbo but just playing safe @ 18psi right now, shootig for 25-27 when methanol kit and everything is finished. this vid makes me so anxious to get his done now.
Stock turbo is good to around 26 psi before it start to get way out of hand with air temps. The 1910 FIC, not yet, WG is the turbosmart with the 17 psi combo 1000cc PNP's (prototypes). AFRs are rich through out the pulls, running 11.2's.]
Thanks, we have really turned up the heat with this and have already made 600 WHP, clutch gave out on us and its getting broken in right now. Should be back on the dyno to post a full pull at 600 + WHP.
Thanks for all the comments guys, we have broken the 600 WHP mark but the clutch gave way. We will be back in 2 to 3 weeks with the new clutch broken in shooting for 650 WHP!
DCR does, not realtune. DCR also made those as uncorrected numbers. No corrected numbers have ever been posted and they have yet to show the correction factor.
Damn, dude. I have an 2007 Caliber SXT with the 2.0 I-4. Wanna fuck with my car?
DaveCaliber 10 months ago
@DaveCaliber Yes, I think we could get you running a turbo set up very easy... if that is the route you want to go. Let me know.

@Cajunhitman There are a lot of other mods that are cheaper that will give you enough power to dust most honda's.

with all this HP how come you dont hold the world record in a 1/4????

If you take a look at the other video's you will see that its a traction issue we are fighting right now.
We have the boost by gear hooked up now and we should be posting some impressive times this coming season.
ptperformance 2 years ago
I think you need to swap this motor into something RWD. Miata with fatty Hoosiers or something. Too many traction issues.
One billion horsepower! And a 13.5 at 140.

STFU dude keep your Jap motors to yourself.
And watch them get their ass kicked by this thing/
SecularTechnology 1 year ago
@SecularTechnology
I suggested keeping this non-Jap motor. I am hating on FWD, not this car.

@tallguyfocus
Your hating on FWD? What the fuck.

@tallguyfocus
This car is quicker stock than most RWD's LOL

WOW! awsome caliber man! How much hp can a stock caliber handle? 600 hp, but for how long?

Yes completely stock internals. We are shooting for 700 WHP HP now that we have broken into the 600 WHP range.
Just make sure that your friend has some serious clutch to hold back the power.

Obviously Some Questions:
What is the stock turbo PSI good till?
Which FIC is this? Engine Management?
Which wastegate and what spring?
What size injectors, I assume they are your PNP variety.
Lastly what were the AFC's at WOT? Looks rich.
John with PTP rocks and I don't believe the Red Shed Caliber Claim at all. Their Caliber doesn't sound one bit as powerful on the dyno in the vid.

Around $5k total in to the car so far. Getting to 500 WHP with the caliber will be affordable compaired to other cars.
