I'm very new to whiskey drinking/tasting, personally I'm more a beer guy, but in recent events I have found a new love and appreciation for my scottish heritage and scotch whiskey's. I attended a recent whiskey-tasting party and although many different types of whiskey's from all around the globe were there, I found the scotch kinds to be the best.
