No its a v12 you can hear the sound at idle and the turbos :D

@kesbee You must be close to legally retarded, it's an SL55 check Eisenmann's website. Secondly, a V12 doesn't sound as deep as a V8 does. The hiss is the supercharger.....If you don't know what a supercharger is google it. Save the planet kill yourself.

@V10DZLTREG That hiss is not a supercharger, it is a common noise on the sl500. I have this exact car in white with amg styling, and you wouldn't know it wasn't and sl55 amg unless I told you or opened the hood. That hiss is rather annoying, and I would much prefer the supercharger whine to that. You wold be surprised what simply removing the resonators and mufflers will do to the sound of a car!

It took about 5 months to get my exhaust system, not Reentech but Eisenmann. whenever you order handbuilt system from Germany, it takes hell lotta time. but once you get it, all the wrongful thoughts are gone with that nasty grawl from your system. Wheels like Neez or Works from Japan usually take 3-4 months.

I like how it makes the exhaust sound more throaty (not more blappy) than stock. And that it retains that whispy sound when you take your foot off the throttle.

From the non-amg rear valance and the non-smoked tail light lenses, I gather that this is a standard sl500 and not the sl55. Still sounds pretty good though.
