Are you guys serious? RPD is the most op'd gun in the game, 2 bullets no matter the distance to kill someone with stopping power on. Try this, 3(uav), 4(counter uav) and 6( precision airstrike). Before I was really feeling guilty with like a 30 killstreak whenever I got my chopper gunner, but now I never stop rushing and completly destroy. The game is just way less serious and fun like the first modern warfare

dude... it's got to take some skill at least to even get to that killstreak: I mean...you have to have some sorta talent or skill (even if camping, cause killcam and thermals can find you, etc) to get 11 kills without dying, for a chopper. Plus they need to be powerful enough...SOME splash damage is needed cause otherwise nobody could get kills 'cause ya'd need to hit them directly...so yeah, they need to be powerful enough.

I completely agree with you, not just the air support rewards but the turret, care package and AV can all change the tide of the game.

I'm pretty old school, and sometimes find the concept hard to swallow. The most annoying thing is how each killstreak makes the next one easier and the game can snowball into a quick and brutal defeat.

they are not over powered, its so much easier to shoot down air support in mw2 then in cod4 but for some reason, no one does it. all it take is one class with cold blooded and a lock on launcher and they go down in one shot, maybe 2 so scavenger is useful. but people would rather have 5-10 near identical classes and no anti air class because they don't want to sacrifice their secondary. soon people will catch on and harriers ect will be getting 2-3 kills max.

I think the stinger can EASILY take down killstreaks. They're not overpowered AT ALL. Buuuuut suppose you're under lvl 30, but your team sucks ass. They're all above lvl 30, but are too stupid and haven't got at least 1 stinger class, you're trying to get your own killstreaks, but can't since you keep getting killed by the 2 harriers, AC130 and Chopper Gunner your fcking failnig teammates gave away to the enemy

Ehh don't remember my best games but I got 58-11 and 49-16 on Favela using Predator, Precision Airstrike and Attack Chopper. Used UMP both games aswell, but 49-16 was when I was knifing :3

I don't think they are overpowered at all. The chopper gunner, for example, requires 11 kills to obtain. I'm not sure how good you are, but I only get one every couple games, sometimes. It also is not very difficult to take down killstreaks, even the AC-130. A number of times I have taken them down on the first shot with a Javelin. (I do NOT use the stinger. I feel that half the time I don't even hit it, and I think (?) it takes more than one shot to take most of the killstreaks down.)

They're hard to get and the reason they gift you with many more kills is because we just worked are ass off in getting loads of kills so they make the next bit easier to get kills as it's rewarding. The way the game is designed is that things that seem overpowered have a counter. Just like heartbeat sensor has ninja as the counter. But it will take some time for people to discover that.

Anyway I like to use Pred' missile, percission (spelling?) airstrike and harrier just to rape the team again and again then die to repeat. Or Airstrike, harrier and airdrop to spam killstreaks.

Pause at 6:37. Look at the opposing teams' levels compared to your own. Only 2 people on their team have unlocked a Stinger. TWO. And what are the odds that they're using a launcher over something like a machine pistol...?

Give the game some time. People will realize that taking down air support should be fairly high on the priority list and will designate a class (or two) with a launcher. Killstreak rewards are good; not overpowered.

But like, killstreaks are obviously over powered, chopper gunner is the best kill streak in the game, and tactical nukes are way easy to get. I played earlier just to see how many nukes I could get to prove this and i got 4 nukes in 5 games. In a way I understand that, since xcalizorz it has been important to put some big numbers on the videos title.

Also, going for a tactical nuke involves some effort. once you've got the harrier (7 kill streak) you have to let it do it's job to obtain the chopper gunner. After that you need to find a good hiding spot to get another 14 kills and BOOM!.

I don't think that the kill streaks are overpowered at all. Kill streaks weed out the people who have to use Stopping Power to spray and get kills..most of the kids that i play with that are good use skill to flank the enemy and catch them off guard..well thrown smokes to make the team look the over way. Sitting back in a corner doesn't make you good. if i sat in a corner and moved to a diff corner everytime i killed someone. No one would kill me. It's all how you play. Fan of the vids tho.
