The drummer tried to copy Lars's drum patterns but he doesn't accent like Lars did. Come on, who do you hear more about? Bliztkrieg, other than referred to the Nazi invasion, just isn't talked about as much as Metallica. And the then the singer tries to do falsetto like Diamond Head. Metallica knows how to shape a song.

 First of all, Lars Ulrich is maybe the worst proffessional drummer ever. Phil Brewis has no need to copy such a untalented guy. I`m playing drums for more then ten years now, i know what i'm talking about. And Brian Ross got no need to do something like anybody else, he sings it this way for so many years that you should accept that it is the right way to sing it. And btw. they are all real Metalfans, i just played a concert with them in the netherlands last week

I would say the mention of Metallica was a tongue in cheek wink and thank you to Metallica for spreading the word about Blitzkrieg. After all Metallica's cover would have generated allot of sales for their Back Catalogue and increased attendance at their gigs.
