As the person, who captured the pass of the toolbag, I know it's the toolbag, as it was in the same orbital plane, as the iss was, and nothing else was lost from the iss, that would be in the same orbit.
It was easy to see, because of it's size and that it's surface reflects a good amount of light, being white. If it surface was dark, then it be harder to see.
So, this looks a lot like any "shooting star". Can somebody describe how its known that that's the toolbag, and explain something more about this 4 second video?
Basically the man who shot this vid tracks satellites for a living, and he has some expertise in the matter, so if he say's it's THE toolbag, and NASA doesn't argue.
Or, he can say it's THE toolbag, NASA could have better things to do than waste their time with this, and everybody will believe what they want like they usually do.
That's what a satellite looks like first of all. (it's not a meteor or anything else) It's moving across the sky while the stars are not, so it is not a star. And it's crossing the sky where the ISS would if you were viewing from the astronomer's location.
Thank God it was only a NASA tool bag she lost and not her purse.
Given all the shit women carry around in their purses it would probably destroy the earth should it return.

The stupid woman should be scolded for that. What a stupid woman. Women are so very stupid and do not belong in space.

Nasa confirmed it yesterday, there was an article on slashdot about it.
So the dude is right. It's the now famous toolbag.
