before a staff member can be a disney character they have to wear winter clothing during summer to get used to hot days in the suit, this way they get used to it and not over heat, this training for tempreture endurance is hard and can be fraustrating but thats the way they dont over heat.

@darksantos1 I've also read that they wear very little clothing underneath and have wet towels on their head to keep them cool, especially when performing during parades.

@Frickis it used to be worse. they used to have to have "communal underwear". i would guess it wouldn't matter which character they play because all of them usually just wave, pose for pics, ang give awkward hugs to kids at crotch level
