This film is the best foreign language film and lesbian love story I've ever seen. I can watch this over and over again and never get tired. Only bit I really struggle to watch is when the Gasapo find Felice and take her away :o( It makes me feel sick inside as you try to imagine how they both felt at that moment. It's a very sad story but amazing at the same time. I highly recommend it. Fantastic. PS Felice is just devine to watch and actually Ilse too for me ;o)

When I heard about this movie, I ordered it immediately from Amazon UK. I had to buy a new DVD player which was "all region". It was worth it. Everyone was believable and fascinating to watch, from the small parts to all of the starring actresses. They were sensational. I have watched it several times, and I will watch it again. Guys who like guys are fucked. They can never love like women. How great that was for them for the short amount of time they had together. Hitler was a shit.

This movie was so beautiful. I love the picture at 1:07, it looks so natural, like they are meant to be together. I only wish I could have a love like that.

Beautiful tribute to one of the best movies I've ever seen. Never tire of watching these actors. Hope to see them all again in more films. Maria, Julia, they're all absolutely sensational.

Ich versuche es auch in Deutsch: Warum nennen sie sich Aimee und Jaguar?

Bedeutet das irgend etwas?

Aimee bedeutet 'die beliebte' und ich weiss nicht was 'Jaguar' bedeutet. Vielleicht 'Jägerin' wie das Raubtier.
