Looks interesting, to bad there is no cacao trees in california and its probably hard to find cacao beans around here too. wouldn't mind trying it out when I get the munches
hey...don't you have to dry or roast the beans first? Maybe I'm thinking of coffee. Also, from what I recall, the chocolate has a ton of fat on it's own and doesn't need added fat.... after you make a hot drink ...a layer of oil floats on top.
I wonder if he lives in the islands because I noticed he was able to pick some of his ingredients from a tree...Anywho that was waaaay to much for me. I just can's see myself getting all those ingredients together for a bunch of little balls...and if I did I would have to eat them with some brown rice and beans.
Hell, if you can't afford all the raw/organic products out there, bless your brain anyway -- I just get a bar of 100% cacao ("baking chocolate") and eat one over a few days. I just got back from a psychiatrist regarding some depression that's been more intense lately. Something in me said, heck with that! I already have my med of choice: cacao. I've been so mcu better just this evening: strong, positive, yet also relaxed and ready for bed soon: magnesium, baby!
@fifthworld just keep in mind that once it passes from the tree to mans hands, you don't know what the heck its been thru. from what i was told most chocolate after processing gos into forming molds. the molds are usually made with lead or lined with lead. don't know for sure but if you self medicate with it, don't buy the bars
I have read the 'facts'. However, like most people who don't understand science/biochemistry, they don't know what they're talking about. Raw chocolate is in no way 'toxic.' If you disagree, lets debate the scientific facts.
well from what i've read there doesn't appear to be anything that is conclusive about it..
Some 'superfood' helath experts say it is perfectly healthy.
Others say it is toxic.
Who do you believe? I suppose if I ate a tablespoon of raw cacao each day instead of getting drunk - this would be healthier right?? Bit of a silly example I know but you get my drift. Everything you consume in life is relative.
if you're talking about the first link that appears after googling raw cacao unhealthy, then yo jsut have a lot to learn bud. if you EVER hear a health expert giving their opinion by being biased, and offering no evidence whatsoeer, jsut assume they are wrong. the only thing he had against cacao is that it is high in fat.. Ok does that mean it will cause cancer, noo. if it is the main part of your diet, maybe, probably not. but we're talking about incorporating it into an already healthy diet.
I'm not sure who's right, but if you give leave cacao in the wild and carob next to it, the animals will only eat...the carob! But with that logic of keeping in to less dosage daily (although the cells have memory, and damage is cumulative), whose to say you should ramp up vitamin c, lysine, to cure ailments. The liver does not recognize tinctures, powders, syrups, cooking, overdoing minerals. It's all for the money....
I love Cacao! Those beans give you the best rush! I get mine at "love street living foods" online, they are completely raw, and they have the cacao butter too. Thanks for the info, great video - I love the music!
you are beautiful, and so is your food and your kitchen...full of life...thank you...good use of beethoven...a great visionary and prompter of human rising to hir true stature!!
nice! can I come over and hang out with you? I'll help you make the cocao balls then we can have a feast! nice dreads man! so you shread the cocoa butter? how does it incorporate into the mix and become smooth like that?
It's pompous enough to remind me of the music they played when Voltaire published his prosy books about individualism and as if your blue text on white background is quotes from his books, or other writers' quotes, which are sprinkled on the covers of the book to make it sell.
I really hope you got the picture, otherwise my witty way with words - struggling stumbling - is just pixie and pointless.
OK, those Cacao balls dont look that appetizing, but seeing how they are made, and the ingredients used, I bet they taste great, and must be powerfully nutritious.
I know what you mean about the golden colours flashing back and forth, data flying in and out of perceptual time. I get that sense from powerful combinations like the one you made here. Honey does a lot, a lot for cacao. Try Cacao, Local Honey, 1 tsp. Chia seeds, its amaaazing. Nice choice of music, tho' I prefer Gyrowetz myself. :-)
I don't ever remember reading anywhere in the bible that the bread was cooked, but yes, the way the bible talks about making bread we can tell it was probably sprouted. It could have been dried by the sun too.
thats what the curch told u!!!! bread is made with yeast a man made product... it cant be natural.. plus common white bread is made with super unheathy white wheat flour!! where is the fiber?the vitamin, the mineral?all gone!!! not point in eating it!! remember why we all eat??get nutrient!!white bread doesnt have any... wholemeal is better but still made from wheat full of difficoult to digest gluten!!!and look at the lable!!loads of rubbish added!!is that what Jesus was eating? really? thanks

if you rolled them in cocoa powder (or powdered raw cacao) you could call them truffles -- hoity-toity, sell 'em for 5$ a pop!
you could make 'em to order too, like different colours or flavours, or health benefits even -- like men's and monen's ones. etc.
