i just had my 3 pins removed today and can say it doesnt hurt a bit... honestly the hardest part of the ordeal is the occupational therapy.

if i dont get pins put in my break will that increase the likely hood of problems in that bone 5 10 40 years from now, my break is in the neck of the index finger metacarpal,and it broke 2 days ago and there is a cast but i would go back immediately if i find out the best treatment is to get pins.

i got 6 pins taking out for a 3rd 4th and 5th metacapel fracture

had my pins and a cast for 2 months..

it was a bummer
