nunja also Sam versucht Vala zu sagen dass sie für sie da ist, alleine wenn sie nur reden will, weil sie ja wissen was Vala so durchgemacht hat etc. Und Vala sagt so am Anfang dass dieses eine Gerät in Sams Büro schon kaput war als sie rein kam. Und so. Und dann am Ende meint Sam so. "wegen diesem Gerätes..." und Vala sagt. "Ich hab keine Ahnung wovon du redest." Also das ist so grob zusammen gefasst um was es da geht. Hoffe dass hat dir geholfen! Lg

You are right in that she's Australian, (but so am I :). She was schooled in a posh boarding school which is why she hasnt a broad australian accent plus she spent most of her life in Europe. This would explain the english accent. Kylie Minogue (pop singer) picked up an English accent after spending a lot of time in England.

It probably sounded like that due to Claudia's Australian accent. Toni Collette is one of the stars of the movie "Connie and Carla" and during the dvd commentary the other star/writer of the film Nia Vardalos and the director talk about just a couple of places where Toni's Australian accent comes out. I can't remember the word(s) that got mentioned, but I'm almost positive it was something similar - it sounded like "er" was added to the end of a word.
