  • Con una pequeña cámara de gases agujerada en la punta del tubo puedes tener mejores resultado, como por ejemplo algún gorro de fogón de Queroseno etc... es solo un poco de imaginación gracias .

  • Oh come one, you are using a bad gas wick! And do you think the holes at the bottom will create a sufficient amount of air to make the syngas AND provide oxygen for the syngas to mix with and burn. For one thing is that the flame is not to be yellow, if its yellow, its rich in oxygen. If its blue, its lean in oxygen.

  • You are producing plenty of fuel you just need oxigine to keep it going.

  • a fly flew by the cam at about 1:25- nice project btw

  • I thin it crashed into the camera actualy.

  • please tell me all the details for its construction (in English).

    Thank you

  • All you need is a constant flame on the top or redirect the gas supply to a consistant flame device (candle, oil lamp) that way you could increase the out put of a small flame to a decent cooking flame using more renewable resources than fossil fuels. Imagine using a set up like that when you are camping all you need to bring is a small bottle of fuel oil and you could use bio mass to cook with. This could lighten the load of ultra light backpackers.

  • Videos like this are worthless. They should show how to construct a useable gasifier instead of playing around with a stupid cigarette lighter.

  • How you build this wood gas generator?

  • Make a mixer-flameholder in 3 minutes:

    1) cut a cross into the bottom of a can.

    2) Bend the 4 (air-inlet) triangles in.

    3) Place the can on the tube. The open end of the can will hold the flames.

4)You can drill a few holes to make it even better.

  • hmmm...try venting the tube

The flame is going out befcause there is TOO MUCH gas in the area, it needs more oxygen

  • i think he needs a heat shroud similar to those found in a jet engine. i'm willing to bet that the gas is escaping so fast, that there isn't enough sustained heat to keep the flame going.

of course, you could be right too.

  • I'm sure it's plenty hot...especially if it's already off gasing. The way the flame climbs the smoke and then goes out tells me that it's being overpowered by the gas and can't get enough oxygen fast enough to sustain.

  • U are very smart ! Good job !

Use a vacuum as air blower .

And a small tube as a gasifier !

  • Taller stack???

    Larger dia stack???

  • I have no experience with these things but it seems like it's blowing itself out. If you put several small holes maybe 1/3 way down the tube, you might get a higher o2 concentration at the top of the stack, promoting combustion.

Of course if it doesn't work you can just plug them.

  • good work! this was better than my first gasifier!

  • cool. Have you tried it with a reducer for the top? MAybe you can get more pressure.

  • darn now thats smart
