@hayharut ppl who run a company want and have to make the money. SE lost a lot of money from "Spirit Within". Learning from past experience, they probably just want to make sure they market itand sell it right FFXIII. They put 60 million and 5 years in developement on a 60hr/35GB. that's a lot of content for just a $60 game. The only other deveoloper will go that sort of distance is Crytek and they got pretty screwed from piracy. They only made money cuz Microsoft and EA games sponsorship.

Microsoft truly deserves the FF series because Square Enix told Microsoft during the first Xbox that they would not develope a Final Fantasy Game for the Xbox because it show no potential for an RPG market. What happened? KOTOR, KOTOR 2, Fable, Morrowwind, Then there came 360 title like Mass Effect, Oblivion, and many more that were US developed at the time. Microsoft made Square Enix eat their words and showed that the US can compete making RPGs.

I don't think that Final Fantasy XIII should've been on the xbox 360. as much as I like Final Fantasy, it has NO place with Microsoft. maybe XI does but not XIII. another reason is because it's too much of a hassle giving fans what the want. like JAPANESE OPTIONS!!!! first of all, the xbox 360 version is gonna have 3 disks and the PS3 will run the whole fuckin game on 1 disk. the power of Blu-Ray, man!! What I wanted to say with my last comment is that I already knew this since in 2006 when Square Enix announced all platforms support this generation. This means that they don't want PS3 to be the dominating console. But any Sony fanboy jumped around on the net and thought it's exclusive for PS3 and MS fanboys said they didn't care about the game it's the same old turn based shit. I feel it ironic.

Actually I don't see this as a loss at all. FFVersusXIII is still on Playstation 3 and those who still own a PS2 like me want to get both titles + other titles such as White Knight Chronicles, Atlus is working on the next installment in the Shin Megami Tensei series for PS3. Gran Turismo 5 is still right on the corner to be released. A new installment in the Twisted Metal series is coming to PS3.

But it's great for those who already own a Xbox 360 that will get FFXIII.

PS3 is fucked? The biggest blow for me was when they didn't show anything about White Knight Chronicles on E3 09. I mean that game is made by Level 5 who made Dark Cloud and Rogue Galaxy for PS2. It was released in Japan on December 25 so they are working on the localization now first in NA winter 2009 and then Europe Q1 2010.

Watch "White Knight Chronicles First 10 minitues" on youtube and get blown by DTS (home theatre surround) and the environments. Star Ocean 4 was last gen to me. Sad..
