@SSTTEEAALLTTHH I disagree, there are hundreds of movies on Chernobyl, so Stalker wouldn't be any different. I'd like to see a movie on FEAR because they've (The developers of FEAR) already created some live action trailers and sequences based on it. But I just see it as one of those series that should stay a game.

After 20 years a second explosion occurs in the zone however this explosion changes the zone in a weird way, alienating it, creating physical anomalies, and constantly changing the environment, like the zone self would be a giant organism. The first people who enter the zone again find nearby the dangerous anomalies also strange composite materials, so called artefacts. These artefacts have weird properties and are highly demanded outside of the zone. And these people are the first Stalkers.
