  • As an American... I want to say... Where your from makes no difference.. Good music, will Always be good music... and this is GREAT music

  • I really love your featured video, thanks for sharing so much great music, peace

  • To all those who are talking political trash to this video: jiuzhaigou is located in Sichuan Province, and we have large Tibetan ethnic groups in Sichuan there. If you don't believe it, google it, do your research. This is a music video, and all your brain washed western morons do is spreading bias everywhere and ruining what's beautiful.

  • @sakamotoitoe1111 This is Tibet, and Tibet is not a part of China! Jiuzhaigou is a part of historical Tibet, that's it that's all ;)

  • @Bouddh4 free tibet??free your ass!

  • @malageb1 Chinese Propaganda???

  • @Bouddh4

tibet is a part of china.

  • @websina thi is TIBET!!! Tibet is not a part of china!

  • I'm not gonna lie this is some of the most beautiful scenery I have ever scene. I also would really love to go to bhutan. Just some of the pictures that of bhutan are enough to take my breathe away. unfortunately for me for the most part bhutan is not open to tourists, however i like that very much becuz bhutan without outside influence will be able to preserve its environment and culture for generations to come.

  • das ist ja voll der hammer, ist verry verry Nice, my Favorite ;-)

  • By the way, don't your exile tibetans learn English in the U.S., the same thing, inside tibetans need learn Manderin, what's wrong about that?

  • I just wonder why those exile tibetans want to seperate tibet from China. Actually, We Han Chinese love tibetan culture, we have 56 ethnics in China, every ethnic keep their own culture very well. There are many famous tibetan singers in large cities like Beijing and shangHai. China is a multiculture country like the unitied stuates.

  • @tiezi00 Oh shut up you brainwashed red chinese.

  • WELL FANS, THE SINGER KELSANG METOK IS A TIBETAN. IT'S UNFORTUNATE DAT WE LOST OUR COUNTRY TO THE RED AND NOW THEY PROUDLY SHOW US TO THE WORLD AS CHINESE. BUT HARDLY ANYBODY SEES THE INTERNAL WAR BETWEEN THE RED GOV.T AND THE TIBETANS. IF YOU LIKED THIS SONG DEN FOR YOUR INFORMATION THE RED GOV.T IS WIPING US OUT. SO, THIS MAY BY THE LAST GENERATION OF TIBETANS YOU ARE SEEING. OUR FREE SPIRIT AND COURAGE PUTS US APART FROM THE CHINESE, NO MATTER HOW MUCH WE LOOK ALIKE.

    SO SUPPORT TIBETAN CAUSE

  • Jiuzhaigou is part of historical Tibet

  • @Bouddh4 Ngawa was traditionally Qiang territory.

  • @Bouddh4 jiuzhaigou is in sichuan province..

  • @huadujuan an important part of Tibet became part of Sichuan province after the invasion of Tibet by the Chinese Communist troops of Mao, people who live in the Jiuzhaigou Valley are Tibetan and not Chinese...

  • @huadujuan invasion of 1950** FREE TIBET!!!

  • @Bouddh4 This is the Sichuan

  • its Jiuzhaigou...not Tibet.

  • @yujia223 It's Tibet, you idiot

  • Tibet is so magical.....

  • DarkKhagan, While it is probable that Native Americans came from Asia, it was so long ago (at least 12 thousand and possibly 50 thousand years) that none of those cultural similarities would have any relevant correlation. Native American culture developed independently and varies tremendously from one area of the Americas to another.

  • @Tarcangel56 you should learn about the First Nations bruhh lol

  • @DarkKhagan That's because Native Americans came from China! How do we know? Native American patterns used in clothing, basket, and pottery matched EXACTLY those in China.

  • 从影片中,看得出来这是西藏本教的转经方向代表作。

  • This is in Chinese.views are from Tibet. m afraid they wear these clothes nowadays. mostly for d festivals. U can't really say Chinese Govt never oppress Tibetans cause of this episode. It is a selfdefence & not a honest way to experess your thoughts. As a true person would never judge something that you really don't know. There is a chance 4 us to live in true life with happiness or ! May Chinese tolerate under the forceful of it's own Govt and live truely, happily and international level!

  • mom ! make my luggage ready, i am going to go China !

  • @SAMIMYS It's not China, It's TIBET..

  • @MsYangchen a foreigner does not have right to say a province of china is not belong to China, just like Chinese should not say Melbourne is not belong to Astralia, learn to respect other.tebit belong to China since about 800 years ago, how long is the history of Astralia, about 200 years, and as the world knew, the white rob land from the native astralians, if you are white, sorry, Astralia is not real home land of you, your ansersters were prisoners from UK..

  • @huadujuan oye shut the fuck up alright, u red chinese, ofcourse, anyone can speak about the truth. This is not China, everyone regardless of any race or color, has the right to speak the truth. Unlike China, where you're all brainwashed and have no rights to even think about the truth, it's different here. Mate, enjoy the music instead and stop bothering me. kbye

  • @MsYangchen You are the shit part of China, Tibet is part of china. You fucking shit on you

  • @SAMIMYS You should go its an amazing country. I really miss it.

  • @SAMIMYS I think it's Tibet.

  • @homey189 You're right. It's Tibet :) xx

  • @SAMIMYS Tibet

  • @SAMIMYS Tibet not China.

  • @oneviwatara For you to land in Tibet, the Chinese army first killed you

  • @websina lol! Only a dumb assssss like.

  • hey do they still wear clothes like that or no?

  • @Aikiya215 only on special occasions, but yes.

did you notice the tibetan man with hat and leopard-fur? the fur is real!

i don't judge, just stating: Tibetan men wear rare furs as a status symbol. the Indian tiger is near extinct. yet its fur is sold in nomad territories.

should the chinese gov't interfere with tibetan culture (int'l press! >_<) or let the indian tiger die?

(same goes for women's rights, education and emancipation - all inexistant in traditional tibet...)

    i have no answer! =(

  • Chinese government never oppress Tibetan culture. in fact, the action of destroying minority culture will cause a revolt among all the chinese people.

ask yourself, when is the last time you heard of the promotion of natives culture by america and australian government? i think they are probably going extinct.

  • egy jó nő (edy you nő) (hungarian) = yi hao nü (mandarin). Are the two sentences a bit similar?

  • i have the whole album uploaded on my channel

  • Magic so deep and so powerful!

  • @gaaragourno

She is singing mandarin chinese language.

  • @daixiunguo For your information, it's Tibetan language, not Mandarin. Two very different languages thanks.

  • Oh! Okay. Thanks. I thought that there was at least one group of people that spun counterclockwise, so now I know for sure. Thank you for the info, milvipes. When I saw the video I thought for sure that somebody made a big boo-boo in the editing process. PS: sorry for the double-posting.

  • Am I the only person to notice that this video clearly shows people spinning the prayer wheels in the wrong direction? How careless is that??

  • @kenisla Pema Tibetans of Ngawa (where this is filmed) are predominantly Bonpa, who spin the prayer wheels counter-clockwise, please look it up.

  • Am I the only person to notice that this video clearly shows people spinning the prayer wheels in the wrong direction? How careless is that??

  • they say in Tibetian culture they scream their pain out when they sing, it's like Tibet borrows a mixture of Arab and native American cultures and combines them into one

  • i miss watching CCTV, I wish directTV would put it back in my package

  • More More More More Please!!!

  • What a beautiful voice and such beautiful people that remind me very much of the Native American people. We all should start learning how to connect with one another no matter what race, cultural or spiritual background, because people all have the same basic desires and needs. Life is short and we should not waste our precious time on stupid politics or religious dogmas anymore we all see the same Sun, Moon and Stars from our beautiful mother Earth...

  • @DarkKhagan I know that's right! I like your comment.

  • @DarkKhagan Thanks for those beautiful thoughts.

  • @DarkKhagan yes :)

  • @DarkKhagan

    well said!!!i agree with u

  • @DarkKhagan - WORLD PEACE ALL

  • @DarkKhagan

To Bad, half of the would is also very ugly.. People tend to get jealous, greed, and on. This also lead people wanting to rule over each other which form government to control the people and does not come agreed on things that out break war itself..

anyway THUMB UP FOR YOUR COMMENT.

This video is very beautiful so do the singer and the tripe Tibetan.

  • @DarkKhagan if more people would think like you, this beautiful world would be a peacefull place. one world one family

    peace

  • Well her singing is great and the song is cool too, but the video reminds of how the U.S. depicted the Native Americans as exotic colorful and tamed!! Propaganda at its worst.

  • Loved the nature scene and I very must like the use of different color in their clothing and just the style of it.

  • all cultures beautiful just reminding the world that we r beautiful and don't lose urself into discriminating

  • @PillzHereify

Not bashing but a reminder that "the future is the past entering another door" as H.G. Wells, famous historian once said. We do not have to hate Japanese people but their atrocities must be remembered! This is why Pearl Harbor bombing is remembered by the American people year in and year out! Nor did Japanese forget the nuclear bombs!

  • What the whites have sought is not justice, democracy or freedom or any term they invented. They want to subvert China which has the smartest people, vast land and good resources and, yes, nuclear weapeons and world-class delivery systems. When China stands up, whites and Japs no longer can enslave Asia as they used to do. India, Vietnam, the Philipines, Korea, Indonesia, Malaysia, and China have all been occupied by the whites and Japs. The still remember the good old days. They are nostalgic!

  • What did whites do to the native Americans who, by race origin, are the same as us?The killed all the buffaloes and stopped their food sources, then they murdered most Indians and ran the rests to the poorest areas in America, known as reservatons. Ever visited souther Utah and saw the poor Navojos in the rocky, barren land? Ever heard of the "trails of tears" on which hundreds of 1000's of Oklahoma Indians died when forced to leave when oil was found. Tibetans can do better in China.

  • @david1234lee if you like this you should check out "Samingad"

  • Maybe the west needs to stop then, but also stop with charity. Let's see how the poor, unfortunate countries will do against ''demonic west'' /sarcasm.

  • This video and the fact it was on Chinese national TV shows just how much they really hate the Tibetans. Look at the video the Chinese Government are trying to destroy the Tibetans and trying to destroy their culture.

Sarcastic if you can not tell.

  • love you , my buddhist sister .

  • As really, disputed about "territory" are pithy. Humanity is one.

  • Forget about "Free tibet". What needs to happen is China needs to make big advances in the human rights department like they've been making in material departments like their economy.

  • This is a beautiful lake on top of the mountains where tourists can sit on the boats and glide along the peaceful lake while beautiful songs are sung by maidens on boats parked at the shaded areas on the lake under the cliffs.

I was there a few years ago and was intoxicated by the beauty of the landscape.

  • WOW she is really talented!!

  • she is tibetan but she song like a Hmong(Miao)

  • @Due2Life no not really because this song is in mandarin i think

  • What a great song! I heard few ones by her on YouTube although, she is very mysterious because I don't find any information of her or songs in mp3, etc. I am sure this Valley is beautiful.

  • Wow! I'm always proud to be Tibetan, I'm so happy to seeing this beautiful song and I wish to go this place one day. LOVE & PEACE

  • @taye1234 yeah

  • @taye1234 That was the past and we can't change that. Tibet can't be compared with old tales, it is happening NOW.

  • @Chrysaetos11

You don't have to change, just return and compensate. If not, STFU!

  • @taye1234 Yes, you can't have a proper dialogue and you can't reason. Very poor for a 50 year old.

  • @Chrysaetos11

How do you reason? If you can't change the past how do you expect China to change especially when China has been occupying Tibet longer than the west occupy their conquest? What's your reasoning?

  • @taye1234 Simple: you don't change the past, you change the present. You go and quit oppressing. Quit killing Tibetans like "dogs" and that'll be a start.

  • @taye1234 That's IMPOSSIBLE, and you know it. Where you gonna stash half a billion people?! What needs to be done is China (and EVERY other oppressor on Earth) to QUIT OPPRESSING Tibetans in Tibet (and EVERY other oppressed group). When China (and USA, and whomever else) improves their overall human rights record, then "freeing" Tibet (a political/nationalistic measure against a human rights problem) is a moot point.

  • @mike4ty4 .

    .

    .

The white Americans need to go back to Europe and compensate the Indians. Don't forget the genocide your ancestors committed against the Indians. There is no comparison.

  • @taye1234: So you justify the oppression of Tibetans because centuries ago Europeans killed native Americans.. You use the past to justify the present. It makes no sense.

  • @Chrysaetos11 yes because American politics today do not oppress native americans anymore? They also decided to stop invading the sovereignty of iraq and afghanis...wait that one's not over yet...

  • You don't have to put me in a position where I have to defend the US, because I feel no need for it. All countries/governments who oppress others are bad, be it China, US or any other nation. People feel the need to create a polarity between ''west'' and ''rest'' but it's not that simplistic. But it's wrong to justify oppression now with past deeds.

  • @Chrysaetos11 .

    .

    Goto wiki/2008_Tibetan_unrest.

They were not protesting peacefully. With the Olympics round the corner, China was not so foolish to draw blood.

  • @Chrysaetos11 who is in combat in afghanistan right now, who has missile defense in eastern europe, troops in japan and yemen? The us always try to get involved in other people's business yet when they do it it's always justifiable.

  • Comment removed

  • @Chrysaetos11 .

    .

Where is the oppression are you talking about? China's policy in Tibet is one of accomodation and appeasement. In China, there are 56 minorities, so how to oppress that many people without huge social disorder? Minorities are exempt from one child policy and their university entrance bar is set lower.

  • @Chrysaetos11 .

    .

    Goto wiki/2008_Tibetan_unrest.

They were not protesting peacefully. With the Olympics round the corner, China was not so foolish to draw blood.

  • @taye1234 wikipedia is not a reliable source for things like this...and what happens if olympics was not around the corner, what would china have done? So ok, why do you think people will just randomly rebel if they're happy with their lives??? china also did not let any media to get into tibet

@tianlongprc well do you think they will put her and her music on national tv if she was for independence? no...., so what you see on tv are filtered things. She had to support the party to be shown

  • @MrBigEnchilada .

    .

Wikipedia is far more reliable than any major western news media. Do you recall how they cropped and manipulated pictures of the riots to make it appear Chinese troops were the aggressors and Tibetans the victims? CNN, BBC were some of the guilty ones. Even if the Olympics was not around the corner, the troops would still act with restraint. The western propaganda machine was and will never be sitting on the fence.

  • @MrBigEnchilada .

    .

A few months ago, there was a march by students to show displeasure against more Chinese language being used in schools. The troops never break them up because it was peaceful.

China has thousands of social riots a year various reasons like land grabbing, police conduct, etc. You have riots in the West too for their own reasons. But in Tibet, outside forces are constantly at work to instigate, foment and subvert social order. The big reason is HEGEMONY.

  • @taye1234 That makes it sound like you're making curing the oppression in the world impossibly difficult. The things I object to is China OPPRESSING Tibetans in Tibet, and I also equally object to OPPRESSION of ANY people ANYWHERE in the WORLD by ANY country. So because I criticize them all, I am most in the right to NOT shut up and never will regardless of what anyone says.

  • @mike4ty4

China is NOT oppressing the Tibetans. China DOES NOT allow any Tibetans to cause upheaval, no more than the US suppress Julian Assange. The US massacred American Indians in the tenths of millions, are you aware?

  • @taye1234 What makes you think the only thing that Tibetans do to get abused is to try and create "upheavals"? And do you try to figure out _why_ they try to do that in the first place (from what I can tell it's not even "upheavals" it's that they protest other things, which are themselves oppression)? And at least the USA doesn't go and torture the guy brutally (though in OTHER cases like Gitmo it has come closer, and I hate Gitmo.).

  • @mike4ty4 .

Kid, what sort of abuses are you talking about that are different than those done in the west by the police? The USA tortures people brutally. Gitmo,

as you rightly pointed out. If you hate it, you should do something about it; Afghanistan and even in the USA itself and don't be hypocritical.

  • @taye1234 The problem is I wouldn't know _How_ to do something about it. I suppose I could send a letter to the government, but would they listen to just one "nobody" who's family is poor? I don't think so... if it was that simple and feasible I'd have done it by now _and_ there wouldn't be any more abuses going on. Hmm. Besides, I couldn't "do something" any more about the stuff in China either. Just not a person with enough bargaining power in the whole thing.

  • @taye1234 And besides, Assange isn't even in the USA is Sweden (I think) that's doing that. I do wonder though whether or not the charges he's held on (the "rape case" stuff) is not trumped up by Western governments who don't want their corruption to get exposed to the world (I like Wikileaks since it exposed U.S. corruption and atrocities done in Iraq & Afghanistan, gosh, we really need change.).

  • @mike4ty4 .

    .

So what if Assange is not in the USA? It is the USA and its that want him suppressed.

  • @taye1234 Well, that's why I said "western government*S*", with the suggestion that USA (and others) may have had a hand in it, supporting/etc. the charges. Now USA is formally on it, with a criminal investigation having been launched against Wikileaks.

  • @taye1234 Yes, I know about the stuff done int he past, but there's not really anything that can be done about it NOW, any more than China can do anything about all the blood it's spilled throughout its history, or any other country for that matter (from what I can tell, every country has blood on its hands). The only thing that really can be done now is not commit further evils.

  • @mike4ty4 .

    .

You should be concerned with evils done by the west against the world especially against China now and recently. I am concerned. What further evil done by China against the Tibetans are you talking about? You are too doped on Richard Gere and other Hollywood stuff who make the Dalai Lama sexy and hip. They are so effective that people like you do not bother to check the facts but take whether CNN, BBC, etc throw at you.

  • @taye1234 Hmm. Could you give me the "other" side of the story for the 2008 March 16th (or thereabout) killings, and where I can get the evidence to back it up? Supposedly, the people were protesting "peacefully" (which is something that is done in the U.S. a lot against government corruption), but if that's wrong, then you must have evidence against it, and I'd like you to provide me with such evidence. To me, lethal force use by "police" necessitates a lethal threat.

  • @mike4ty4

What oppression? Any oppression would not escape the attention of millions of tourists who visit Tibet each year. And why would China encourage the tourism if it is as bad as you sound.

  • @taye1234 As bad as I make it sound? What do you mean? Like they're continuously killing thousands and thousands of Tibetans every day? I think that would exhaust the supply of Tibetans. I didn't say that, and so it could still go unnoticed by most tourists. But evils are evils, period.

  • @mike4ty4.

    .

What evils committed against Tibetans could go unnoticed by westerners especially the journalists who love to spin one-sided distorted stories out of China? If you want to wade into the Tibetan issue, you must google and study the Tibetan history, especially the role of the KMT, the CIA and Dalai Lama's association with the communist party.

  • @taye1234 "especially the role of the KMT, the CIA and Dalai Lama's association with the communist party. " Only the middle factor though is the USA's. There's still two other Chinese-based sources of evil, so China does NOT get off scot-free. You can't make that happen anymore than I could innocentize the US, because it's simply not in agreement with actual fact.

  • @mike4ty4 .

    .

What did China do to constitute your meaning of evil? What evil are you talking about? The CIA in the 1960s supported insurgency in Tibet, just like elsewhere in the world. Does China support the American Indians or the Hawaiians? Neither did China support the Argentina against the UK.

  • @taye1234 well said. makes you wonder how many hiprocrites there are in this world lol. people dont practice what they preach..

  • @hanzocloud It's impossible when you make a straw man. Like I said, I don't like oppression done *ANYWHERE* on the whole darned Earth.

  • @hanzocloud, @taye1234: I look at evils on a casewise basis, not caring what country does them.

  • @mike4ty4.

    .

Then you must look at the greater perpetrator of evil. It's the CIA and the white colonialists in the context of international relations.

  • @taye1234 So you think that all other countries are innocent, only the "west" commits oppression and no other country does? I don't think so, silly. I don't think you could find an innocent country if you tried. It's just not the way the world works. I don't consider the existence of "other evils" an excuse for doing evils -- there are no excuses for any evils by any countries on any part of the planet. Not West, not East, not North nor South.

  • @mike4ty4 .

    .

That's not what I meant. I'm saying they are the worst and China is nowhere remotely close in terms of cruelty against other nationals.

  • Very beautiful music, Kelsang Metok in a magnfique voice and the clip is full of authenticity!!! I like very much...

  • this region is magical.I want to go there,

  • I've been there and I can say this place is actually magical. :)

  • wow beautiful tibet...

  • wow..

  • OMG ohhhh myyyyyy GODDD! This is the most beautiful thing I have ever heard and seen. I am in love with Tibet this month!! 'Uncharted Among Thieves!' Lol

  • In light of the Tibet-China debate below, keep in mind that without the Chinese government, this place would not be preserved because several companies had already started logging in the forests. This is actually one good deed by the Chinese government.

And about it's location .. It is actually located NORTH of Sichuan. A Chinese province. Not in Tibet. It is now a nature reserve and also a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

  • both countries are beautiful, but chinese government is not for people, they are totalitarian!

  • really good movie and beautiful song of a beautiful woman - tibetian culture and china goes peacefully together

  • harika muzik teşekkurler.......

  • Well, i like it......

  • Confundir o povo tibetano com o povo chines, é o mesmo que confundir o branco com o vermelho. O Tibet nunca pertenceu a China.

  • I know everyone is busy arguing on a subject no one will ever agree on, but in terms of the actual video and song, anyone know where I can buy this track? Itunes and amazon are both coming up dry...

  • @rachelseagroatt I have had no luck finding this one song, either. But if you like other songs by this same singer, she's listed on iTunes under the Chinese version of her Tibetan name: Geisangmeiduo.

  • Québec support the Tibetan cause and the Tibetan people.

Free Tibet and long life for the Dalai-Lama!!!
