Humm, you know the 4 way flasher switch is made to the blinker switch.... mine was about 60 bux from the dealer. It made the brake lights flash with the blinkers...LOL. That emergency flasher switch is how you can tell if you get the right replacement. Just my 2 cents... Have fun out there!!
lol the brake light is the same bulb as the blinker bulb.. i dont understand exactly what you mean by "It made the brake lights flash with the blinkers" though. But anyways, my actual blinkers work perfectly, its just the emergency switch it self. :)
no idea, lol i just left it whenever i need them i'll just play with them for few seconds to get them working. See the problem is, the switch never gets used so buying a new one will end up just like it.
from what i've found out, its one big switch. The emergency, the blinkers and the water for the windshield wipers is one big combination switch. I rather have to play with the little switch for few seconds than to have to get a whole new switch because i broke something on this one when trying to pry it open. I think it's glued shut..

I see. It should be taken out and the contacts lightly sanded then. Which I'm sure is just... so easy...
