There were 39 episodes, and the US compilation movie only used the first four episodes, whereas there were changes from Episode 20 onward (Ururu/Tyrannus is killed off and replaced by the alien Emperor Gottes, who now commands the dinosaurs, and Zen/Jim and Ai/Jem are now able to combine into an Ultraman-type cyborg giant, with the usual Tsuburaya/Ultraman trademarks.)
