There was a press conference before the fight in Trinidad's home country, and Bernard Hopkins started a small scuffle that involved him tearing up a Puerto Rican flag in Trinidad's face. Trinidad was upset, and his countrymen was adding fuel to the fire. Trinidad came into the ring firing off power punches left and right. B-Hop took his time and Trinidad wore himself out. Easy win.
