  • thats an SHIT ACEDEMY!

  • is some goes like that to the body take it with ur arm quick elbow for sure, fuck that uppercut a horizontal elbow will do more damage

  • hahaha look at the fat guy trying to kickbxing makes me laugh hahaha

  • @djpichon7 that ''fat'' guy is trying to lose weight or learn, why hate on him, he could probably kick your ass.

  • I like how you use the slow motion to show how it works all together.

  • are u supposed to counter while the strike is coming or after it hits?

  • can't wait to start my MMA classes

  • ya the second drill looks like: straight, hook, kick

  • keep that guard up not impressed

  • man id love to fuck up this red neck mother fucker

  • wow...everyone is such an expert.

  • look at the way he punches, he loosens his guard per punch he throws

  • It says : Rt uppercut, Lt hook, then Rt kick...... He does Rt punch? Typo?

  • it makes me mad when ppl confuse muay thai boxing and basic muay thai

  • @RazorTheHacker and what is the difference?!

  • @Artaxerxes1986 it all is depended on the hand movement , location , and the body movement its hard to tell the difference

  • @RazorTheHacker well basic muaythai is surely the basics of muaythai??? so they arent different. sorry if i still misunderstand :P muaythai is muaythai, there is set way to do certain things but depending on your body i guess some small changes can be made. other than that, to teach a roundhouse differently from the 'muaythai roundhouse' is to teach it wrong.

  • youtube teaches you how to kill?

  • Rex-Kawndo lol

  • where is the clinch in all your vids

  • Comment removed

  • Great stuff, the hitter needs to relax more. But other then that, great stuff.

  • very useful counter technique. Of course if you perfect it you need to take care of your defence too..

  • เยี่ยม

  • the second one wasn't an uppercut , hook and kick. it's hook, hook, kick. please correct me if i'm wrong.

  • @BlazinFlame123 youre right

  • thanks from spain :D

  • Watch the black guy in the background with the speed ball. LMFAO!!!-Thumbs up Everyone!

  • Watch the black guy in the background with the speed ball. LMFAO!!!

  • 47 people tried this at a bar.. and got knocked out.

  • @Guywithair2

Trying martial arts moves you see without actually training in it tends to

    do that.

  • this guy big john trained years with Sakasem hattaway,,, the punisher

  • There is absolutely nothing wrong with these drills.. Whats with all the hating?

  • i want this dude 2 train me, you need to open up a school in Bronx, NY

  • the last counter was hook hook kick i didnt see an upercut..fuckin dummies

  • i want the song name pls !!

  • typical westernisation, "lets take what the asians created and totally kill it by teaching our own knock off version."

  • thats why they wont come any farther in mauythaiboxing in america greets from holland

  • i like your style

  • he aint doin the productive muay thai stance right . its different well i do it different ad so do many peopel i know and he doesnt have 1 hand protecting face propley ad hes hit pads and needs to snap the hook

  • yawn

  • he's like mr garrison because drugs are bad mkay?

  • terrible form, just terrible

  • @DamnCanucks

he'd probably kick fuck out you though

  • awsome

  • Shit's sloppy

  • why there is differents combinations (counterstrikes) for two very similar punchs?

  • @thomm7 always a different option.

  • Common guys yea they made some mistakes but what's up with the comments??? Be nice!

  • For "hook upstairs" words say "uppercut, hook, kick" but instructor said "right, left hook, kick" and student demonstrates that. Instructor blocks camera for part of demo.

  • have mexicans taken up muay thai yet? i reckon they could produce some good figthers in the sport

  • the knee technique is horrible, punches are ok ;)

  • I love how this guy will not even hesitate to swing / hit his students with thai pads!

  • worest muay thai teacher

  • and your normally meant to lean back on a knee, hes going straight up ! he would get a jab to the gub

  • hes coming with the knee from the outside is it not meant to go straight up

  • whats the name of the song ??? cool moves!

  • they leave their guard SUPER OPEN, the place they should be protecting their not. using that stance provokes the opponent and can lead them into a counter, but I definitely wouldn't use that if im on straight offensive. Once you lose stamina the opponent will kill you. Only time your guard should be open like that in my opinion is if your going to try to dodge and counter.

  • Pads don't hit back.

  • @kbnguyen17 when he is hit back he realy just send some of his force vs the other guy so he does not get a broken bone or hurt his hands

  • @kbnguyen17 Neither would you, considering you don't understand why these drills are done.

  • I wonder how many modern thai boxers use the banana tree training, or the coconut in the water, or the lemons/limes hanging from the tree training. All modern training is good, but you CAN NOT and I MEAN CAN NOT replace the all the tradtional training. I practiced muay thai for 7 years. My master (Kbak Kbrong) told me that tradtional practice taught you all the basics you would need to now in a fight, and he also added that modern training these day only made the modern thai boxers soft and weak

  • @kbnguyen17 Yeah, all these guys that destroy people in the cage are obviously soft and weak.

  • I don't think I've EVER seen, aside from pro fighters training, someone NOT say someone's technique in muay thai sucks. Like, literally search any video someone posts of them hitting a heavy bag or working the pads, and someone says their fundamentals suck, or they don't know how to kick. It's kind of amusing.

  • whoever sais muay thai sucks is fucking retarded....

  • Wtf who is this kid hitting pads pick someone with correct fundamentals please, thanks.

  • if you want to see a nice uppercut, chek out the ko badr hari delivered last match :)

  • In a ring people usually wont just throw a hook, the would throw hook, upper cut, hook, but starting a combo with a hook gives you not many options, they would probably do strait right, hook, then elbow or something like that

  • @exbaddeathgod where the hell did you get this information.

  • @lionheartt77 From experience, in a ring you don't want to throw just one technique, you want to throw combo's. and the combo's I said were ones I tried and flowed the best.

  • He drops his guard everytime he attacks. Not too good in a fight unless you've got a brick jaw.

  • and this is terrible instruction i mean hes teaching how to counter a one punch shot first off which mostly only has a place in street fighting second he throws his hook standing tall when i drop a liver hook on someone the head is too far over and in for a uppersut and by the time the second shot comes/misses youd be ready you might get kicked/kneed but youd be ready with hands upstairs

    trainer...is swinging from his waist...

nobody throws just a 3 nobody ever not once

    this seems horrid

  • This is terrible.

  • feet

  • where are your hands huh?

  • americans are shit i am way better

  • I'm American but I still believe you lmao..

  • think twice shitface

  • USE YOUR GUARD TOO!!!! after watching this....

  • wtf is up with these vids they never got theire hands up, absoloutly open everywere

  • haha so true

  • @harryzeller

And I'm sure you'd still manage to get your ass kicked, lol. Did it occur to you that they're not taking it as serious because it's a tutorial?

  • @electroxjunkie Did it occur to you that the guard is one of the most important and basic things in any fighting style? You can think "yeah, but when hitting pads the guard is not important, cause pads don't hit back", but when it comes to a real fight these habits can knock you out, like punching with your guard low and getting hit back right in the nose. You probably don't know what you are saying.

  • @harryzeller muay thai has less protection but more power wit strike and they do hav their hands up wen required to

  • @XtremeCouture913 if the boxer is taught well enough and is skilled enough, muaythai has very good protection actually.

  • @harryzeller je poepgat is open all the time

  • u mean like Sanshou? look that up too ppl

  • sp33drsomething, well let me tell u something then, i do train for muay thai and boxing, and let me tell u , more you heat the bag, or any other things years after years , your legs and arms get stronger, street fighter heat human body right???

well go and kick a sand bag, without guard and come and write how u feel ... then i will see if u say the same thing again

  • not to be a tough guy but i used to use a sandbag for exactly that and its why i like them i was hitting sandstone before i ruined the bag its excellent because the more you hit the harder it gets the harder it gets the harder you get

but the best wrods of wisdom is just about everyone on line is full or retarded rediculous i wish i was cool bullshit most of these people who talk about training or whatever are just fucking loser ass liars

  • sp33d3rz your a tool, who would train to hit hard things. And just because they train wit bags n shit doesnt mean some one who just street fights can hit harder stuff

  • i think the unique problem in the muay thai is the gloves. in a street fight, or if you just need to fight with somebody on any place (like a fucking street), they probaly will fuck their hands because they will not be adapted to hit things hard.

  • Ur right, we r totally adapted to hit things soft, like bunnies or puppies, we spend all day hitting teddy bears......

  • ur kind and rong because when i train in my itf taekwondo class we do thing to condition our hands and feet and dont wear gloves unless where sparring even if where doing bag work there is no gloves but just becuase you work on a bag dosent mean that ull fuck up ur hand in a street fight i never did then again the once in a blue moon i happen to get approuched my fights dont last that long butn its ur opinion and ur intittled to it

  • @iceywolf1: It's easy to break your hands if you don't practice hitting solid objects like a heavy bag. It happens constantly when people suddenly land a punch on something hard when they aren't accustomed to it. Your anecdotes about your street fighting career are not only irrelevant but also pretty sad.

Seriously just go hit a heavy bag full force for a minute without any gloves or wraps and then come back and talk to us about it.

  • @SecretTechniqueGuy 1rst of of all who r u to decide what sad or not second of all who uses gloves to hit heavy bags i have never used a rap or a glove to hit a heavy bag and i know what it feels like u should ask a question before u start asuming crap and i only hit heavy bags at full force going half assed isnt my style

  • hilarious, you gonna debut on the wwf anytime soon?

  • @narezul lol im not sure if this a joke or an insult but ill take it as a joke so lol maby i will even thou wwe is kinda like a violent soap oprah

  • @iceywolf1 it seems going half assed is your style seeing as you didnt even research the "who uses gloves to hit heavy bags" statement. they make heavy bag gloves to protect a fighters hand from (believe it or not) heavy bags. so you might wanna start using some ;)

  • i know what gloves r used for but do u see thai boxers in thai land using shin pads when they kick banana trees or shoilen monks in china use bag gloves for they they hit walls or trees no so then why should pansy my hand and use gloves there might be nothing rong with bag gloves i just prefer getting the full affect of my conditioning practice

  • @iceywolf1 fair enough, to each his own

  • so...you should definately post some video of you whaling on the bag with no gloves or wraps

and if you really trained i dont think id have to mention the difference between hitting a bag and conditioning limbs on hard surfaces

  • people say some silly shit on youtube dont they...

  • @iceywolf1 fuck you kid. fuck your couch. fuck your opinions. and fuck your mouth.

  • @lionheartt77 woow you know what go eat a dick who the fck r u to come out of know where and say this shit fck u fck ur opions and ill fkc ur mom in the mouth and several other places just becuase i work on a bag with out gloves dont have to do with all these bull shit so fck off and enjoy ur training ser

  • That's what they have elbows, knees, and shins for.

  • does this guy run that gym? and going from his other vids kinda sounds like his put his own spin on muay thai which is fine coz ppl find diff aspect easyer than others

  • errrr...not reading other peoples comments, but did anyone notice that on the hook to the face the guy counters with a hook, hook, kick or a hook, uppercut, kick. When the white text says uppercut, hook, kick.

I'm heavily seeing a hook, hook, kick. If it's a hook, uppercut, kick. then the uppercut was terrible.

  • @Soakedboy Look more like a cross hook kick which is still wrong. Good eye.

  • Muay thai's gods given sport to this fuckin earth, mix it with judo and your unbeatable in the clinch and on the ground, perfect self defence :)

  • i ve got 18 years of judo, 4 years of ninjutsu and now working on muay thai, doing MMA for 3 months and building muscle and cardio in the gym, I can die like a happy man now

  • Congrats bro, I admire the effort n dedication.

  • @airwolf511 your a f-king lair

  • @0251beverwijk wanna bet?

  • @airwolf511 so how'd you do in the bedroom? ;)

  • @thegodofpop1 , lol, after training; poorly

  • @airwolf511 : Keep in touch, son (Y)

  • @Peanuts917 I'm still here (and still loving MA)

  • @airwolf511

  • @mbenson001 how do i find it ? ... im having dificulties finding it

  • useful vid.

dis will help me in me class

  • thanks...

    learnt lot

  • That guys pad holding is GARBAGE!! Why are the pads so low for the kicks and facing straight down that guy will never learn to turn over his kick.? why is he stuffing his punches like that.

Booooo .Stop raping such a great form of fighting.

  • maybe the other guy is a bigginer and you are more advance....

  • No ,he is the head instructor. Im talking about the trainer not the guy hitting the pads.

  • it could be another lineage of muay thai

  • naw he had them at an angle

  • he kick your ass faggot face

  • watch the fat black guy on da back at 25 do dat kick/

  • where your gym be at??

  • Comment removed

  • whorthless

  • watch the guys from thailand do their kicks and knees holy fuck makes you never wana travel and start shit hahah

  • there taking is terrible no balance the guy does not follow threw with knee really poor technique

  • All techniques are evenly important for Muay thai, and why is that? Beaucuse under your "career" as a Muay thai fighter you will meet many different fighters with variuos styles, weaknesses and strong sides, as a fighter you have to adjust. And to naphon, try to fight without punchin, you will not last for 10seconds, so what you say is so far from reality in muay thai as it can be. Punchin and kickin is the main techniques in Muay thai, but all techniques are important for Muay thai

  • This is muay thai ring sport but muay chaiya used in battle filed

  • I thought Muay Boran was the deadly one.

correct me if im wrong im certainly no expert

  • muay chaiya was mainly used more on the battle field. it's like bare knuckle fighting, with grabs and more killing intent. i've seen my kru do his training excersizes for muay chaiya.. and they're brutal.

  • Got any videos you reccomend on Muay Chaiya? I also want to learn MuayBoran

  • muay boran is just a another form om kickboxing muay thai is the deadly one my friend

  • wheres the difference pls tell me

  • the most deadly form of Muay Thai is the form used by a real master.

  • this isnt realy muay thai bro.... just kick boxing...... so gay the old ways have been lost

  • i do mauy tai an this does not look like my training.....

  • The hardest thing with learning how to suceed in muay thai isnt about learning to hit, its learning how to read your opponet

  • that is so tru

  • basic but i would work on his foot work . a lot of crossing feet and when you finish your attack why let them off the hook so much. keep the pressure on a little more

  • Punching is classed as the weakest weapon in Muay Thai, why? because its the only weapon thats padded,a puncher can win in Muay Thai but he has to either shoe good effect with the punches or cause a opponent to be knocked out, swop a punch for a kick/knee or elbow and you will most likely loose.

  • This one isnt Muay Thai:(

  • muay thai isn't only kicks the main game is punching

  • what?!?! r u serious?

  • you are a really good teacher

  • this music makes me think of chuck norris

  • i wanna learn this!!! theres no where here that will teach it though...

  • where do u live?

  • shit

  • in Thailand, you don't get points when you punch

  • you still get points but when you kick there is a higher given point

  • don't be stupid.. of course u do..

  • no you don't, i went there training.. look it up, than come talk to me about muay thai

  • go a head talk...

  • In Soviet Russia punch eats you!

  • u can never ever master any type of MMA your alwayz going to learn something new ive been doing muay thai/wrestling for for 8years and i havent even came close to mastering it ..

  • heres a question 4 you, since ur called chronicSmoker, I'm startin muay thai classes next week, but i like to smoke a bit of weed too, will i need to quit weed totally for the class?

  • just don't smoke the day of your classes and you should be alright. that's what i do and it seems to work for me

  • maybe it helps.. but if you smoke nothing, your condition will get up so high and fast. and you will be able to recuperate much much faster

  • Yeah mate, i would honestly try and quit, even if you dont smoke on the days you train, our body will still have to work alot harder, i would reccomend trying to stop altogether.
