I live in Las Vegas and believe me when I went to Lancaster it wa a Peaceful,wonderful place and the people were soooooooo nice.

it is fun sometimes but there is alot of amish. and im not amish at all i am the farthest away from it. people think when they go to lancaster all they are going to see is amish but were not all amish. lancaster is prety fun most of the time..

Yeah, especially the Clipper Stadium setting off pyrotechnics in a residential area every Friday and Saturday night and sometimes during the week at 11 at night. Really intelligent and considerate of the residents and their children and animals... hey, whatever brings in the might buck, right? Screw the tax-paying residents.

no... I agree with you... I moved to allentown for 5 years...and I returned last year....and I don't plan to ever leave this town... BUT... ask anyone who's from here.. they will tell you that the night life sucks.. I mean there are things to do if you are a tourist...but for a resident..it's different.... ;)

My family and I like to visit there and we have done so many times. It is a different part of the State to see. I suspect your opinion is different because you live there and the experience is nothing new. Those natural smells you speak of are much different than smog and car exhausts!

I'm japanese and I've been in Lancaster for 1 year to study English.  Lancaster was a good place! People, historical building,,,,everything is great!!! I will visit there soon..

I use to live in Lancaster PA. Most boring 5 years i ever had. I almost became suicidal. thank goodness I moved out and back to my big city. It is very beautiful, but boring.

I live in lancaster pa and love it. But Just a quick fact only about 1% of lancaster pop is Amish, so were not all amish

thanks. the thing is, anyone who lives there like the people above dont see as much of the beauty as there is there. I am from Tampa, FL. Its a highly populated city that revolves completely around money and buisness. I love Tampa, dont get me wrong. But seeing a serene place like Lancaster was fabulous.
