I remember this awesome Big M advertisement from my childhood also, but with a slightly different edit! I recall some scenes of inline hockey where the players used a Big M carton for a puck?!
Good to see the mighty Prahran ramp in the advertisement! It's still be used to this day!
0.39 is the Bunbury St Tunnel Bridge leading into and out of Melbourne's Dynon Yard. Pacific Nationals Freight terminal. Hence the NR locomotive behind the guy :)
I think most of the add was shot between Footscray and Dynon Roads in Melbourne. I vaguely remember someone mentioning that on the radio unless someone knows otherwise
i dont get how the song relates to a big m.

@BusanSouthKorea They actually made two ads, almost the same. I've been studying Big M ads for my media class, they are quite interesting..

i remember this ad so well. when i was like 12, this ad was still in syndication. im 19 now, amnd i think all the recent big m ads are so cheesy.
You know what i think. someone should make a 2011 version of the big m ad, with the song, the parahn ramps, EVERYTHING.

I loved this add, always makes me think of how awesome Melbourne is! And the 90's, my childhood! Thankyou for putting this up! <3

Possibly it's the Bolte Bridge in Melbourne.

@Fordgirl No, it's not the Bolte Bridge. I remember this ad and it's from 1998. The Bolte Bridge wasn't built until 2000.
