  • You have a great story, i'm glad you have done videos on youtube very interesting!!

  • congratulation on such a successful channel & videos Peter!

  • This is a wonderfull tale your telling here.

  • Is it me or are these addictive? So interesting. I hope I can tell great tales like yourself when im older. :)

  • I agree with 'isurviveddiana' Peter you are very easy to listen to. What I like best is when you have a giggle, it's very pleasant and reminds me of my Grandpa Hibburt.

  • "What's the probem with riding horses? ... I got shot down in flames very quickly" :-))) Yeah, a motorcycle has horse power, but that's nothing compared to the fact that a horse HAS power!

To be good at one thing and then trying a transition to something allegedly similar? I've been there, except you'll never see me on or even around a horse due to my animal hair allergy. Makes me give up breathing, so to speak, within ten minutes. So I probably wouldn't have come to meet Charlie Watts there .

  • Another touching video. Your life story is the best!

  • You are a pretty remarkable person.

  • His story is like a good book, i cant stop watching the "Telling it All" series, fantastic

  • still enjoying the journey of your experiences. now this is truly easy listening... thanx again

  • What a great episode, Peter!!! Chuckled as much as I cried at Part 4!!!!! Just as I thought we were veering into the delightful, but mundane... YOU FOLLOW A ROLLING STONE ACROSS A PADDOCK!!!!!!!!!! What a RIOT!!!

  • You sir, Have changed my life. Thank you

  • Lathes, presses, cylinder re-boring engine repairs. That's precision engineering. How did manage to apparently seamlessly cross over to something like that from what was a so called white collar job for the NHS or such like? Granted you have interest in motor cycles and no doubt mechanics, but machining?

  • I've found three things we have in common, granddaddy: the passion for horses;music and The Rolling Stones. Hehe

  • lol i loved how you discarded the telephone in favour of reciprocating your memories to us, thankyou!!!

  • i find your vids very interesting, ever thought about writing a book?!

  • Next please.

  • I really like your videos the simplicity of your story is sooo refreshing and warm to listen to....thanks.

  • Thank you, Thank you, Thank you

  • Horses are like that they get afraid because it's your first time riding them so you end up falling off and when it is your first time you get bad injuries

  • i came apon your xmas video and now ive seen almost every video lol

  • You are a Godsend, Peter. Thank you so very much for sharing your life with us.

  • I have to move on to your next video, I cant seem to stop.

  • i can't either! and it's 4:01am

  • me too! just discovered...its 1:50am!

  • I love your voice it kind of sounds like a voice u would hear on a book on tape its very easy to listen to. I wish i could put your stories on my ipod so i could listen to them in the car or something like that

  • :-)

  • I only stumbled across your videos last night, and wanted to ramble through them, excited anticipation enveloped me, as I clicked on each episode. But alas, I am unable to listen to ALL of your stories too quickly, needing to savour this wonderful moment. Tears stream across my imagination as I attempt to pick up the fragmented pieces of my own life, but would far rather listen to yours.

  • i agree

  • I adore horses! You're an inspiration Peter.

  • Hurray! It's a long time since I checked your vblogs, and now, I see that you have posted over 10 of them since last time I logged on! Seriously: I use your videos as saturday evening entertainment, just enjoying your vblogs and life itself along with a beer. I hope I get so reflected, nice and young in spirit as you when I grow yound.

    John from Norway

  • LOL, hindsight is 20/20. Still up listening. Still wonderful.

  • You are an inspiration. Starting your own businesses than working from home. Good stuff.

  • Peter, this was one of my favorite stories, I loved hearing about the horses, the Rolling Stones, and how much you learned about women in your time at the stables, very funny and touching! Todd

  • what a wonderfull intresting life you have. you have done things that some would never do in a lifetime. I'm shure your family are very proud. I'm glad you found horses they become part of you and stay in your heart forever, probabably the way you feel about your bikes too. I find much enjoyment from listening to your stories, and at the age of 22 i have learnt alot by listening to your experiences. Although you dont know me I feel like your a real friend. thank you linds x

  • you worked very hard and you deserve the good life

  • I enjoy hearing your life stories so much!!

  • i have to get up early in the morning and it is 2am now but i cannot stop watching.

  • Wow. There are so many levels to your life...it really absorbs my interest like no videos have before. Each installment of your series leaves me wanting more and more to watch the next one. I do believe you are the best that happened to YouTube in a long time...keep it up. =)

  • This is because he has been in the world for 79 years now and he is getting the opportunity to tell us about it. We will have lots of interesting stories when we are of that age.

  • You are a legend in yourself. I love you lots! You're like my angel and hero and grandfather and best friend in one. I love your stories and adventures. And everything you did in life you did for those you loved, how much I admire you for that. That's really cool about Paul.

  • I'd love to see a long form DVD of your stories, but I'll settle for you sticking with YouTube as long as you like. Thanks so much.

  • You sir are brilliant and your stories I find thoroughly interesting, especially this one as I'm a fan of the Stones. I've watched from Part 1 thru to this one, think I'l stop here for the time being but looking forward to catching up with the rest of them! Sounds like you have a lot of fans, I know I'm one

  • I dream about being able to own my own bike shop. I wish I knew half the tricks you still remember. Tell more about the old BSAs, Triumphs, Nortons, Royal Enfields, etc! Scan some pictures in and do a video slide show of your old bikes. Teach a class on here about tips and tricks for the older bikes. Enquiring minds want to know. I wish I lived closer to you than the west coast of the US. I'd be bugging you all day to teach me. Keep the videos coming!!! :-D

  • I love listening to your life's stories! You are a master story teller. Alice. USA

  • i love hearing about your life, you seem to have led such a furfilled happy existance, keep up the ramblings amigo, :)

  • No it's not rambling and don't feel you have to rush

  • Another excellent instalment. You have such vivid recollections of your earlier life - mine are beggining to fade a bit now, and I am some 20 years behind you. The one thing that comes over in your videos, and which makes you so popular, is your genuine honesty and friendliness, as well as being so polite, well spoken and a pleasant sounding voice. Many thanks for all your efforts - I am catching up on all your broadcasts.

  • It is very interesting to sit and listern to your stories, it amazes me somtimes how people can remember all the details of their life like this, i would have trouble telling my life story now, and i am only 19!! LOL keep em going!!

  • I finally got to watch the first 5 installments of your videos. VERY interesting!! I will be going to the UK next week for a mini-tour, so have been extremely busy.. I will see if I can watch a few more installments tomorrow night!!

  • waiting for the next one Papa Tube

  • He Is Legend

  • I just love to listen to these when I'm going around online... ^_^ you rock!

  • You are bloody brilliant!

  • I love how organized he is and keeps checking the time in all videos to make sure...isn´t it lovely? h even let a phone call let go to keep talking to us...i feel like if he was here

  • not really somthin, but in the way, i listen to the end (??)

  • Thank you for sharing. Nothing important for me but anyway, you are one of a kind.

  • Oh My God! You met Charlie Watts! I hate you - well I don't really hate you. I think you seem like a nice person but still! I don't normally get jealous either haha! Well I've met Bill Wyman :P I was shaking like a leaf but nevertheless I've met him at his booksigning. The book of which I've now lent to my art teacher.

  • u r wicked man keep it up plz reply 2 dis comment

  • This was no "silly ramble"! I loved, I'm but I also love the Stones ;-) Keep those videos coming Pete!

  • I'm the kiddie! Your the man!! <33

  • Your stories would seem boring if written in a book and i bet no-one would buy and read but the way you tell them and your interest in youtube makes me glued to every episode you create! keep them coming. by the way you should present on the radio.

  • As I enter my 40'...the age where you are not considered young nor old(except by teens lol),I am starting to become very nostalgic when remembering bits of my youth. Good to hear your stories,I love to listen to my Dads old Navy stories. I am trying to convince him to leave a video record of his life which I would like to make into a book. Oh well, keep it up Pete.

  • The mad thing is would anyone have picked up on this if it was on TV? I don't think so somehow, discuss.

  • Granty77:

There was a show called talking heads in the UK, though that was scripted. Great thing about the Internet, it picks up a hell of a lot that mainstream misses.

  • I live in the UK so I must have missed that one- I always liked 'Trade Secrets' though, just regular people with camcorders giving useful tips on all sorts of stuff.

  • the peanut is neither a pea nor a nut, discuss.

  • "I'm the kiddie!" thanks old-timer, might use that one myself if you don't mind

  • gdi104, nice cheap shot at advertising on an important video. I wish the could ban internet IP addresses rather than banning accounts so people like you could never continue to advertise. Is nothing sacred to you guys. I do hope you make no profit out of this endeavor.

Sorry Geriatric1927 but I think people like that suck. I will be back to post more and bug ya hehe.

    .............................

If you want to create real good videos you have to check out the YouTube Video Tutorials! You'll be able to create 3D graphics for your YouTube vids, special efects and what not..

    Episode 1 is here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JVmunnv1CH4

  • Ohh, good video!! more about it in http://www.mapa mundix.com

  • Good, I was just thinking an old man's opinions are exactly what You Tube needed. Hopefully the inevitable copycats spring up and we can have more poor quality videos clogging the most viewed. Who's with me? Anyone? Ok.... Anyway, here's a video I actually like: http://youtube.com/watch?v=BwyaexHA9tk

  • i was wondering why you were so focused on teh time? Is there a time limit on video?

  • 10 minutes as maximum for standard YouTube accounts.

Directors like me, have unlimited time but we still gotta stick to the 100mb limit.

  • 10 min vid clips max

  • "YES Peter We DO love you!" Keep up the amazing work: www.geriatric1927.co.uk

  • You make me hard.

  • Please post Part 6 very, very soon!!! You are so bad :-) teasing us there at the end! What is next, what changed your life???

Thank you so much for sharing your life story with us!

  • I have spent 44 years as a cat lover, so it surprised my husband when I adopted a very sick dog from the local humane society. Of course we fell in love and now, my love for all dogs has grown somewhat similar to the addiction you have for horses. My whole life has changed...

  • "YES Peter We DO love you!" Keep up the amazing work: www.geriatric1927.co.uk

  • Ohh, good video!! more about it in http://www.mapa mundix.com
