I´m working finding talents and helping them recording, most of them doesn´t have the resources to get good productions. I believe that helping them getting good materials, will help me being heard as a producer, only then I will be able to transform this Music Production Hobbie into a business where I´ll acually do what I love the most. Guess we all musicians dream about this. Just wanna make music, and help people making music, as you do. That´s why I think I should win the schoolarship.
Ok, you should pick ME for the production club scholarship, because; I'm 42, been playing in bands all my life, and have always been at the mercy of less dedicated band members not having the money, drive, or motivation to record our stuff and put it out. Since I stumbled across HSC, I have hooked up with an old bandmate, 700+ miles away, and used your videos and our 2 tiny home studios, to actually record and release our own music!! Yay!! Looking forward to learning lots more from you!!!
I love music and I really think Music is my savior on many levels. I play the piano and a friend of mine owns a Homestudio. I think I've started recording myself since I was a little boy on that little keyboard + mic toy LOL. So far I've learned things the hard way by just doing it and experiencing which outcome it has. I've never had a tutor or somebody who I could turn to and ask away.Your advices (emails) has given me a guideline on recording so far and I hope It can continue. Safe trip Joe!
Hi joe, i love you videos are awsome, i have a little home estudio, im gonna marriage the next year and mi girlfriend is a singer, i would like to produce an album to her, but its hard to put mi ideas in a record, all my money now is for the a little non expensive weding, would be great if i win the free seat and make a better and wonderfull recording that she can sing in the weding, thanks you joe
Good Stuff!! Everything I've been able to do so far in Pro Tools and home recording has come from your site (and Grahams). Looking forward to the production club!!
I participated in the first production club back in 09. I HIGHLY recommend this course. Joe explains all concepts in a straight-forward manner that takes a lot of the mystery out of the process. Joe has some great insights regarding all aspects of music creation, production, and mixing. Keep up the good work, Joe!
I was ecstatic when I bookmarked you and Graham's sites. I was tired of feeling defeated trying to get the right sounds. Now, It has turned into a passion. The art of conveying a song through mixing and production is just gratifying. With all the time I've spent in books, there is just no sub for the videos. Regardless, thank both of you guys for all the awesome free stuff you put up on youtube. And Making the club would definitely beat the binder I have of blog print out references.
I would love to be a part of the Production Club, however all of my money is going towards my college education. I have listened to the Home Studio Cornet podcast front to back and follow the blog. All of the information has been incredibly valuable. I'm studying Audio Engineering in school but none of my instructors like to get into things like song writing and pre production. I do love the school but I am always looking to better forge my craft.
Hey Joe,
What is the state of the production club currently? When are you doing the next course? Thanks! John

@henrikhansson1 :) Ha ha. Great point. Luckily, I won't be recording using the built-in mic on my iMac. That was recorded directly to YouTube. :)
