  • Would a year old crest get along with one that's 1week old.

  • @struga3402 Never combine 2 geckos that are different sizes. They'll eat smaller geckos or at least bite tails, limbs, etc.

  • hi, i know this has nothing to do with this video but i just got a crestie and a was wondering why is it digging and burieng its head??? plz responed

  • @adamski287 Just fyi it's easier to get in touch via email. If you offer dirt etc. sometimes they burrow and females may be laying eggs.

  • Please help, My female crestie has not been with a male before in its adult hood but may have been when a baby for i got her at a expo when she was about 2 months old. Is it possible for her to lay eggs that can hatch ? if so how can i tell the diffrence for fertile and infertile eggs. Thanks!

  • @TheGeckoWhisper While I personally have not seen a crested gecko lay virgin eggs that hatched, it does happen with some reptiles, so I don't put the possibility out entirely. However I have the info on fertile/infertile eggs on my website.

  • @stolenmilkcrate I was wondering if it is alright to keep to cresties in one cage. The gecko I have now is a female please respond. Thanks

  • @XicanbefunnyX 1) You should always quarantine new animals in separate cages for at least 2 months to make sure the new one isn't sick, 2) even two females can fight, 3) don't put a male and a female together unless SHE is ready for breeding and YOU are ready to care for her and the offspring, 4) NEVER combine geckos that are different sizes. If you can at all help it, I recommend housing separately because once a 2nd is intro'd, more problems can happen.

  • lol! Buttery nipper is so cute! I heard that incubating eggs at high temps like 80 degrees F makes mostly females, and they tend to be more aggesive. Very beautiful geckos btw!

  • @Dogieo Dunno how accurate temp-sexing is for cresteds - works for other geckos though. I haven't found that to be the case personally. Temps affect crest size and coloration with cresteds though.

  • Hello!:) i actually just bought my crested gecko today, they didnt have repashy in petco so i ordered from pangea a few min ago.... My question is, hes a baby but can i feed this to my gecko all the time or do i have to feed him crickets soon? Also will baby food be fine until i recieve the repashy from pangea in a few days?

  • @partyzfinest99 Repashy is great for all age of crested gecko. You can add crickets once you're sure the gecko is eating the Repashy... crickets only need to be fed to it about 1x a week though, and that's just if you want to. Repashy is a fully balanced diet. I would recommend you blend up your own fruit instead of feeding baby food... the most common baby foods, banana and peach, and two of the worst fruits for geckos. They'd do better on papaya, mango, some berries, etc.

  • are you on the rep ashy forums

  • @MUFFINSFORKIDS My name is Jaybee there but I don't post much :)

  • THANKS FOR SELLING ME CARAMEL APPLE!!

  • Holy cow!! Your holdbacks are INCREEEEDIBLE!! :D SOOO amazing!! Do you ever NOT have beautiful geckos?! ALL of my envy!! Thanks so much for taking the time to show us a few beauties from your amazing collection! Keep doin' what you do!

  • Hey jb cresties I can't figure out what he is he has the skin like a flame the dots like a damnation(he also has a big dot on his tail) and he has some red dots and a tail like a harlequin PLEASE HELP!

  • @claudio12386 If you're looking for morph help head over to the pangeareptile forums. I don't do morphs.

  • hey i was wonder if you could help me out? i just got a crested gecko yesterday and it is only 1 month old. i need help. i just wanna know ho to take care of it because im afraid of making it stressed.

  • @crestedgeckocare1 I already have all of my care info set up on my website. It's linked in my vid info. Don't have time to tell you everything by hand so if you end up with a specific issue please let me know.

  • Those are some crazy cresties how many you have?

  • @VersusModeADR I have mine all pictured on my site, google JBsCresties.

  • hey jb quick question? i have been wanting to breed my two geckos (watch my video) my female was 39 grams and they hooked up 3 times but know a week later she is 34 grams and she really isn't eating why is that? she hasn't laid any eggs or anything also when i put her near the male she dosn't want to mate. even when i try to feed her with a spoon she dosn't want to i just keep dabbing it on her nose and eating that way i don't want her to be pregnaut and egg bound plz help me???

  • @whiteviper9 Just leave her alone, you are stressing her out by dabbing stuff on her nose (you can also asphyxiate them by doing that, closing up their airways). Sometimes females will be stressed by having a male in her enclosure. If they already mated, remove him and put him back in his own tank.

  • one quick question... is it ok to feed my gecko a mixture of baby food reptocalcium and CGD... i know u cant feed them just baby food but if i mix in the goods will it be ok for them?

please reply on the post or PM me for the answer... thanks

  • @TheGlAmIsRiDeR4LiFe CGD is already balanced ... don't know why you would add all that other crap in there.

  • make an updated holdback vid please!

  • @TheGlAmIsRiDeR4LiFe Err... this vid is only a month old. They do not change that much.

  • my favs gotta be red dalmations

  • Hey jb do you ship to Canada? What provinces in Canada? Thanks :)

  • @550starlight My website has all of that info - I only ship to the lower 48 US.

  • Nvm -.-

  • Are most of your gecko name choices foods?

  • You said in a vid feed them crickets like

One every two weeks or so.... Do you have to feed them crickets at all?

And also the diet food is that every day?

(I keep snakes so not sure but kinda

    Want a crested) k thanks

  • @MrPythonMorph I have my feeding info on my site (linked in the vid info). Too long to type in yt comments.

  • Oh wow, Spenwood is so gorgeous! He looks mossy! And the Butters death glare is precious!

I was wondering if any of your geckos are non-biters? My guy has never even opened his mouth aside from letting his tongue slip out to clean his face (at least when I'm holding him and whatnot). I've (gently) poked at his lips and he just doesn't even flinch. I really need to check his calcium sacks because I feel like he doesn't eat. Any advice?

  • @fufucuddlypoops66 All of the geckos I have now outside of Butters are non-bitey. She's a special case. I don't think you should stress him much to look at his calcium sacs though - males just don't tend to hold as much calcium as females do so seeing them won't tell you much.

  • butter its like devil's spawn lol

  • i got told that most crested geckos dont acturally like repashy gecko diet. is this true? please reply asap as i have just got a crested gecko and would like to know if i should feed him this or if it would be a wast of time.

  • @reptilefan1231 I replied to your message in my inbox, but for the others reading, I haven't had a problem getting my cresteds to eat it.

  • Nice babies JB :]

  • ROFL @ Butters, and *sigh* for Spen and Wasabi. :)

  • I'm not big on Pinstripes either, but DOVE is a beautiful example of one. The tan pinstripe shows up nicely against the dark coloration. Nice holdbacks! Congrats!

    - Wulf

  • Wow! Beautiful Holdbacks, JB! :) And I just love your last comment in the end of the video! That just made my night. :D

  • your gonna wake up one day , With Butters on your bed

just glareing at you at you with her mouth open

  • I think Donut is my favorite. But butters has quite the personality.

  • Spenwood is a real stunner! It's also great to see how Bean's is doing. Cute lil baby is getting big! Your hold backs are turning out to be quite a handsome collection.

  • I c what u mean but carlos is not nearly that bad hes just small. He isnt shy and always licks baby food of my fingers and if i put a brown cricket in front of him( thats how i usaully feed him) he'll chase it down and eat it ps nice website referl. Ppss i have never seen any reptile food suppliment in scotland and i have also looked online but he seems to be doing fine apart from the size

  • @stolenmilkcrate im feeding him ( carlos is his name and u can use it if u want) 2 or3 brown crickets a night and a maggot every 3 nights and obvisly baby food mixed with calcium suppliment

  • @RodneyMullensNo1 Hm... I very much do not recommend baby food and could be contributing to slow growth. If you google "dragontown reptiles" and click "meet bubba" you will see why. If you can, look into getting some Crested Gecko Diet (Repashy Superfood).

  • I love the explosion on Superman, and Beans did so well for being such a tiny baby. I feel a little biased toward red ones though, I don't know what it is. Fuddrucker is a great name. LOL And Butters... Some animals just don't like anyone, but I have to laugh a little at her GAPING mouth of eat you and the death glare.

  • I guess, but didn't you say they don't bite that hard, well , it doesn't hurt all that much?

  • @RinAikou Yep! But some have still drawn blood on me, and it can be extremely shocking and even frightening to people if a gecko bites. I have seen geckos get flung across rooms and smacked into walls because someone had a bad fright-reaction to a snippy gecko. Better for your gecko that you don't try to play pranks like that.

  • @stolenmilkcrate Aww, that's sad, yeah, that does change my mind. I wouldn't want a gecko getting hurt just for my own amusement :(

  • JB can i get some help. I have a plain brown/ yellow gecko and hes 13 months old but hes only about 10 cm i dont know if this is normal please help. Ps i like pinstries

  • @RodneyMullensNo1 Rodney, some are just slower growers. What are you feeding it?

  • Rofl, I'd love to have a gecko with an attitude. I'd tell my friend to pick something up that's right infront of her, and she'd bite him :) Is Butters another one that you're holding back?

  • @RinAikou Like I said in the vid, I just picked Butters up at Tinley this year. She's not one I produced. I don't recommend handing bitey geckos to friends though, people can react badly and hurt the gecko trying to get them off of their hands.

  • I am drooling over all your babies this season JB! Can't wait to see what the future holds with all these babies :D

  • Nice holdbacks!!

  • dove is so cool looking
