  • With an event partially sponsored by the White House and its initiatives, they weren't going to send the White House chef home packing... I'm not saying the judging was fixed, but I think there was definitely some favoritism in the results.

  • i like nigella, but not the judge in the middle. she sounds annoying to me

  • Bobby Flay is a fucking boss.

  • like both teams, but Batali burnt things left and right and their dishes were too heavy. Flay and Comerford did a better job showcasing the garden produce

  • the judge on the middle sucks.... if u watch batali his menu plan doesnt change always raviolo stuffing over and over again.

  • This is a good show, but they totally ruined it with pushing this White House garden shlock.

  • actually, both team have won.. but because Flay is so lucky to have a beautiful, and good cooker with him. congratzzz.. Greatest show ever..

  • That sucked, the other team should have totally won

  • They way i see it some of you guys are "racist"(not saying all) thats why u are against Cristeta.. alot of you complaining about "blah blah should be winner".. if she is not good she wont be working inside the white house as an Executive Chef.. Cristeta Focused more on veggies while Batali team on Meat... But ihave so much respect for all of those chef.. to all those Cristeta Haters If Batali and Lagasse can accept their defeat why cant you??

  • All that those who say Batali and Lagasse should be wnner. i have nothing against you. but those who say Cristeta won because she was from the white house? COME ON! Taste27tie Plating 15-12 if im eating on a fine dining i dont want to see my food inside a paper bag. Originality 13-11 ofc Cristeta won. there is one dish the host didnt even know what its called. while Batali team used alot of influence from other stuff. i dont see why Cristeta team isnt worth it to win. much respect to batali tho

  • BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • What's interesting is that Batali/Lagasse created heavy dishes and Flay/Comerford went a little lighter and refreshing which was a great strategy because the judges were getting stuffed and they were all ladies.

  • Batali and Lagasse burnt stuff left and right, and didn't highlight the garden as well as Flay/Comerford. The better team won. This was a great battle.

  • @6th818 I don't have a problem with what you just told me. I am just simply expressing MY opinion as you are entitled to your's too. I stated my opinion for other Filipinos like myself and Chef Comerford who are downgrading her that's all. But on the other hand thank you for the information you shared. I am very much enlightened and inspired by her even more. Thanks. ^^

  • Nigella Lawson is qualified to be the judge in this battle, but the Seymour lady and Coughlin... I think maybe for other battles they can have a take, but not this one. Ted Allen is much more fitting for the job since his been a food critic. Steingarten should be there. Better yet, the other Iron Chefs! They're much more qualified! ^^

  • When Chef Comerford dropped the tomatoes in the deep fryer, I thought "Wow! Very Filipino!"

There is also a reason why she became the White House Executive Chef. She-is-good! A lot of international leaders get to taste her masterpieces.

Chef Flay and Chef Comerford did focused on the challenge and the theme ingredient. Chef Lagasse and Chef Batali made a bold move in making dishes that are American inspired. But over-all their dishes look absolutely great. For me, they are all winners!

  • @leahearthyunbin If you like poetry you will like this poem . Search " IS the Cross Christian Poem" It will blow your mind !!!!!If you are Deep?

  • @leahearthyunbin Actually Chef Comerford was under Chef Walter Scheib III's direction as a deputy chef. He was unfortunately ousted by the Bush administration; Laura Bush) There was apparently some conflict of interest concerning using French inspired dishes during the Iraq War. Keep in mind Chef Walter Scheib actually got his degree in food, Chef Comerford unfortunately immigrated to the states before she could complete her's

  • I don't think Flay is that good but the white house chef seem pretty organize and methodical, obviously she knows what she's doing, congrats to her!

  • Batali and Lagasse on one team? Yeah, that's fair.

  • All the Chef is GOOD but think about what the Real challenge in this Competition, is to promote Vegetable's and to highlight the Sweet Potatoes. so who's team done that you decide who really is the REAL WINNER. in my OBSERVATION FLAY and CRISTETA did that.BATALI and Lagasse did a great dish no Objections on that but they really LoSt focus on what is the Real Idea about this Competition.

  • The Secret Service Strategy

  • Of course the team Comerford was on won. She works for the white house. Did they really wanna make the president mad?

  • LIESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

  • "we're here not to make friends"

probably one of the greatest tv show cliches ever.

  • I'am proud to be a filipino... great job chefs...

  • I think plating should have went to Batali. Flay's dishes were far too jumbled and inelegant.

  • mmm wonder what would happen if the white house chef lost

  • Damn it...Flay always wins! I wish someone would just mancheck him and bring that cocky-ass attitude back down to the rest of mankind.

  • @babablackiesheep

There is possibility hometown judgement ?

  • @babablackiesheep you are really annoying to spoil the results.Go post this on the first part..It ruins more there..

  • Hmmm. Politics????

  • OHHH MY GOSH!!! your talking to yourself?? sigh!! i pity you!! tsk,tsk,tsk..

  • Bobby Flay sucks.

  • I think part of the judging is also crapped out due to the aims of the challenge and its INTERPRETATION by the chefs. The secret ingredient isn't really clear cut as they never said vegetables soley are to be used, as the proteins are ALSO fresh and local. Though i'm surprised both teams tied for taste and team batali lost out in plating.

  • i dont care for anyone who says burnt foods are a problem

one side was burned so stfu get the dick out of your mouth and ass and cut it off if you dont like it OR get some ketchup

there are people starving all over the world and people get alittle pissy about burnt foods....shows how pathectic humanity is

  • @silentassultsquad your quib about people starving and burnt food has no bearing to one another. AT ALL. There are some foods you can't get away burnt, charred wtfever but otherwise, burnt food is FUCKING BURNT FOOD! Even I'm kind enough to not serve that to ANY Human, you fucking wretch.

  • @newagepun thats not the point

it is food all the same and people can quit crying over it and just eat it

  • Mario team burn lots of foods

  • come on..they won because their good..they brought the garden to the table..hehehe there all very good..but still theres a reason why comeford is the executive chef of the white house..thats because shes the best..

and i wana motorboat that gal in the black dress!awesome cleavage!!!

  • 38 seconds reminded me of a scene from Saw lol

  • Alton Brown for chairman...he brings so much life and knowledge to the show and judges table.

It'll never happen but it would be nice if it did.

  • A really close battle. My mouth watered when I saw the ravioli with the egg yolk. I love cutting into pasta and finding that golden gem of goodness melting on the plate. Being from the south, I wanted some of that collard green tomali. Hope I spelled that one right. And I always look foward to listening to Alton Brown as commentator. I wish I could judge a battle. It would be tough, no doubt.

  • flay and cris should thank tony! tony tony tony!

  • @gm110378 haha word. Tony was awesome.

  • The ONLY reason Comerford and Flay won is because Cristeta works for the White House, duh! This is sooo unfair!

  • @hightek669 I disagree. This match was a fair match.

  • @ttcgeek Considering their reactions from Batali & Lagasse, no it definitely wasn't. There reactions were more pointing at them compared to Flay and the "white house chef". It was definitely a BS contest, fun to watch but nothing more. Not only that, but they also used shit judges that are pure flakes, considering how praised they were on Batali and Lagasse's dishes compared to Cristeta and Flay, then they do a complete 180 and say the winner is Cristeta and Flay.

  • Even if it wasn't set up from the get go, another point is clear that the judges are just bad. there judging abilities were downright horrible.

  • @Gypscrew how dare you! Nigella is a goddess!

  • @hightek669 I agree whole heartedly, I mean...IT just was unfair! They need to do another match with NO Political chefs

  • Never dreamed such a cooking competition to have every emotion of a blockbuster A-1 movie awsome show. All are winners but I go for Flay and Commerford. Mabuhay! Thanks for sharing.

  • @hightek669 UH his food was all burnt.

  • I wish Tony and gordon were in a battle and flay, bataly and Alton were the judges. And yes this was a long drive home to the executive chef of la casa Blanca, Barack Obama enjoy your new dishes at your new place.

  • batali and lagassi are my kitchen inspirations.. that is... until i found out about chef comerford! LOL! she beat the iron chefs the real way, using the main ingredient as the key. and sure bobbys bbq sauce helped i guess ... ..... a little..... haha

  • Wow! How in the heck did I miss this?!?!?!? Food network is one of only four channels I watch on TV. Hopefully, Food Network will let thisstay up!

Flay & Comerford's dishes were indeed more pure to showcasing the garden and is why they rightfully won.

Batali & Lagasse each have always had a more traditional theme in most of the dishes I have seen each make. There is also an element of fun in each dish by each. I was very captured by their dishes the entire show. They make a great team!

  • Personally I'd prefer Mario Batali's cooking. But of course, if it wasn't for that challenge to promote healthy eating, I guess the Batali & Lagasse team would have won. =)

  • YES PHILIPPINE SUPREMACY!!!!!!!!!!

  • mabuhay ang Pilipino!!! yahoooooooo!!!!!!!!!!

  • this makes me so proud to be a Filipino.. they had made a good descision.. Filipinos are just so talented, can excel in different field..

  • @ariam1278smile you make it sound like every filipino is like cristeta. Honestly, not all pinoys have a monopoly on the talent. Those who stand out are recognized and those who aren't, either should work harder.

  • @newagepun:: why make an issue out of this?? i am entitled of my own opinion!! in fact i never said anything than shouting it out how proud i am that Crestita won!! so what's wrong with that?? lol!!! insecure bayeet!!!

  • @ariam1278smile look who wrote something that looks like making mountains out of ant hills? Cristeta represents herself, not every Filipino and certainly proved it with her success and cooking ability. And its ironic the person who can't see this is the one calling me 'insecure', where I am very secure of my abilities and where I, a Pinoy as well, am great at. I don't look to their successes, but their methods on how they become successful.

  • @newagepun yeah!! yeah!! yeah!! whatever!! lol!!! i know that your just missing around!! well good luck!! xoxo! chillax!! ang puso, ang puso!!!! (ng saging) =))

  • @ariam1278smile wow, that is your response to someone who is serious about your issue? Typical spineless pinoy.

  • @newagepun say whatever you wanna say!! not affected dear!! if thats what you think it is then, go for it!! and ohhh by the way!! look whos talking about spineless pinoy???!!! lol..

  • @ariam1278smile Thank you for being my perfect example.

  • @newagepun lol!!! why make an issue out of this??? i am entitled of my own opinion.. i was just shouting out how proud i am for Crestita that she won!! sigh!!

  • She's a great chef & showed that in the battle. I agree with nigelhalfwitt & keiko73. ;)

  • Aww...I wish Batali and Lagasse would have won. I like the other chefs, but I really like those two.

  • nigella's TOTALLY my kind of girl!... beautiful and eats w/ such gusto.. not picky at all!... there are fewer women like her nowadays, i mean w/ all the calorie counting and wanting to be thin... it's WAY better to be healthy than being thin just to show of...

  • @crepusculum19

    whos the blonde girl?

  • The objective of the challenge was to focus on the secret ingredient/s which were the vegetables and though the Lagasse/Bitali dishes were more flavourful and artistic there were more protein in them; whereas the Flay/Comerford dishes were solely focused on the vegetables. I think in that respect they truly won..and achieved the objectives of the challenge which were to encourage America to eat healthy and to prefer fresh produce and grow their own vegetables as much as possible.

  • That was tense, but i liked it a lot. I'm a VERY big fan of Iron Chef America. ^_^

  • It really doesn't matter who won,,, it's how HOT Nigela is, DAMN !!!!!!

  • chef comerford and bobby flays dishes didnt really bring out much creativity and flavor... mario and emeril had more beautiful, flavorful and creative dishes..... lmao just cuz shes a woman and also a exec. chef from the white house.

dont hate on my comment - its jus a matter of personal opinion. =)

  • @Kitt3hCaT i dont think you should comment on flavour since you didnt taste it.

  • @OmgItzMathew like i said its jus my opinion - and i was only saying it according to wat the judges gave points too... so fine creativity it is.

  • hey stop hating. we are not the judges so who are we to say that?

    congratulations to chef comerford!

  • this show is rigged. everytime a woman challenges the real iron chefs (emeril and mario), she always wins.

  • well who are we to be critics, we wrnt been able to taste the food they made, emeril and batali are amazing chefs but they also have their downpoints, im not into flay that much but i can see he worked hard to earn his prize so stop hating and learn appreciating

  • i think Batili and Legasse loss this battle because they did not used more on the secret ingredients, which is the garden veggies instead they used more meat/ proteins on their menus

  • @frenzycon hnds down man ur rite

  • Very impressed with Flay in this episode. Flay asked about what vegetable Mrs. Obama would defn. not pass up if she were to use something from the garden. He didn't grill anything. He used a large majority of the ingredients into very unique dishes. Bottom line: Very impressed. He should cook this way more often.

  • i disagree! I think Emeril and Mario should have won.

  • They tied on taste 27 to 27. That's the bottom line.

  • I totally agree! Couldn't have said it any better. I just can't wait until the next Super Chef Showdown =)

  • congratulations Chef Cristeta Comerford. we, Filipinos are so proud of you! God bless!

  • thanks for the upload! great show!

  • why does emeril and mario have to lose?

  • @PokemonFreak3313

i have no idea either. this is ridiculous to me. Flay and Comerford won 5 points over Batili and Legasse for the presentation and originality. In my opion,i dont see much different between 2 teams in terms of plating design or orinality. they probably made this up for the guess chef to win but 5 point different is too much and that make a lot of people questions about the result.

  • @chocojung coz FLay ang Comerford used more of the secret ingredients...The other team had more meat on their food..

  • I don't think that they would dare allow biased decisions to happen in kitchen stadium... so many battles have been fought, so many world reknowned chefs have been defeated. I believe Flay and Comerford won. 5 points difference in score is pretty much far out from being bias.

  • @nmdon batali burnt his radishes, pretty much sealed their fate.

  • @nmdonbatali burnt his radishes, pretty much sealed their fate.

  • Thanks for Super Chef Battle! Comerford was poetry in motion, no wonder she's White House Exec Chef.

  • well it depends on what the judges like its not really on the familarity of the ingredients

  • The veggies weren't actually from the garden oddly. "Stunt" vegetables were used.

  • i bet it was scripted. Obama's personal chef lose on television while cooking food from their oh so familiar garden? i'm sure thats going to happen

  • I doubt it was scripted. But I do think Comerford had the Advantage since she is used to using the garden.

  • that's what i thought! :) very nice and interesting battle! i was so pleased with the result! :) the judges liked the ravioli but i think they appreciated comerford's/flay's showcase of the vegetables...well done though for all 4 chefs! and finally, alton got to taste the food hahaha! thanks for posting

  • @angeluspride i dunno how batalli's had lower presentation and originality. The radish + scallop illusion was great, they should have been dinged on the taste not the presentation. theirs is lower
