@846524162 They both use melodic vocals, high pitched at times, heavy use of keyboards, fast drums, losts of solos, though dragonforce have a lot more, they both use fantasy based lyrics at times.

But they don't necesarily need things in common to be compared, you can compare differences and similarities, so things definately don't need to be the same to be compared, it just irritates when people say you can't compare cos things are different. nothing against you, just youtubers in general.

I agree that this isn't his best peformance (it's not very good at all) but after watching so many DragonForce live peformances, so many of them are shit, and some are good. But in terms of studio music (something DragonForce are good at) I still think Sonata Arctica are the better band.

DragonForce mostly has videos on Youtube that are shot with sucky phone cameras, so you rarely see their pro footage live performances.
