@yZarify After checking your favourites videos, it's clear you don't know what you're talking about. Perhaps you should check out earlier Soilwork, and the album past this one, panic broadcast. Wichers wasn't in the band when this album was produced, and some of the bands you listen to have Soilwork as influences growing up. Admittedly this album/song was more radio friendly, but the band themselves are fuck all like that, and ARE melodic death metal. Study more before commenting.

Soilwork did the heavy MDM route before BOTH of the bands you linked even existed. And Norther Pale in comparison to Soilwork. Panic Broadcast is nothing short of amazing. In the older days it was guitar driven like it was for most Gothenburg/Swedish sounds, they flirted a bit with Metalcore, Wichers left and now they are back on track. I think what he means is that this takes ACTUAL talent. People who have to train their vocals, and not just talk themselves to fame. People who need to know how to play an instrument in order to succeed, and not just have a computerized drum beat in the background. People who make rap, and hip hop have talent in using a computer. Not in being a musician.

Real music, for me, is anything with a beat, either made by instruments, or computers. And let's not forget the "stamp", "stump" or whatever it's called, music genre. It doesn't have any instruments in it, but yet it is music. And you can't change that fact.

I've been a fan of theirs since I was 10, Heard Spirits of the future sun on a CD my sister got and I thought, "What's he saying?!, Do I care? Fuck! This is EPIC!" Now i own all their albums and got an appointment to get the guy from this inside of "A Predators Portrait" Tattoo'd on my arm and the "Stabbing the Drama" tattoo'd on the other arm.

I think what he means is that this takes ACTUAL talent. People who have to train their vocals, and not just talk themselves to fame. People who need to know how to play an instrument in order to succeed, and not just have a computerized drum beat in the background. People who make rap, and hip hop have talent in using a computer. Not in being a musician.

Real music isn't only about playing an instrument.
Real music, for me, is anything with a beat, either made by instruments, or computers. And let's not forget the "stamp", "stump" or whatever it's called, music genre. It doesn't have any instruments in it, but yet it is music. And you can't change that fact.
I agree with you that this is a good song, but it isn't more real music than JustinBieber-baby

Who said I never knew what music was? I understand that it technically IS music, however it doesn't mean the person is talented at it. You asked for them to define it, they never did, so I gave a response instead. That doesn't mean I don't have a full understanding of what music is. It's just the person's opinion of what their taste in music is.

@ThePhoenixMVs hell yeah. mike has talent. i honestly think LP went downhill when they took out most of the raps mike did. for example songs that kickass like faint and in the end and etc... i like all there songs but i think HT and meteora are their best 2 albums. minutes to midnite rocks too. the new album completely out there and different and took some getting used to but it is ok. i wish fort minor would release another album they kick ass. i wonder what they're up to? REMEMBER THE NAME.
