It's a good cover but it doesn't compare to the original Beatles recording. I don't know the words to express it, but the instrumentation or the arrangement of the melody doesn't grab me the way the first bars of the Rubber Soul original does.
I really don't want these songs die for the following years of my life and for my future children and grandchildren... i will share this kind of songs for them so that they would understand what a song is...
Wow i was looking for this video for quite a long ago! Thanks that i finally found it now! i really love this music! The Lyrics, the Melody, The Video and the performance of Bette Midler! This is the best version of this music! Because this version was able to deliver the real message and meaning of the song! One of it is loving and reminiscing those people and moments which and who came to our life and how much we value and cherish them! wow! One of my alltime favorite songs!
