  • glad they scimped on the sheath and not the knife. we ordered a knife not a sheath. everyone wants a great knife and sheath for twenty bucks? lol

  • thumbs down to the trolls

  • its a great knife. love mine

  • All the belt loops on timbler rattler knives are large like that. They must use one sized sheath and cut the length down to length of blade. You can easily make the belt loop on the sheath smaller making it more useable.Thats what I do with mine and although I agree the sheath could be alot nicer it actually doesn't bad for holding up

  • dude, I love this knife, see the video.

big , hard, bad ass knife.

    Osu,

    David

  • BTW if you want a "real" knife that will do ANY job more effectively than this cheap knife you are reviewing, and you like large blades, get a KA-BAR Kukri machete (NOT Cold Steel!!!). You don't want ANY knife made in Pakistan (or "Pakistanly" steel...).

  • @Fretfeeler i thought cold steel machete was south african made?

kabar kukri machete is 2 times the price tho, why waste extra $ on a machete? why not your primary survival or camp knife instead

  • I bought this big bowie based upon your review. It's a great value and I've used it already to clear brush. Thanks for a straight forward review.

  • the seal of oklahoma is because timber rattler has another knife calll the oklahoma bowie knife or some shit and they use the same sheath on all knifes even there$150 damascus bowie

  • yeah really sweet bowie, planning on buying one soon.

  • it's weird how your name is veryknifeguy, but you only have one knife video review LULZ

  • @prismflash everyone has a start.

  • I don't know how good this knife really is the price kinda scares me it's really cheap so i have to ask my self how good is that steel and does the handle hold up oh yeah i almost forgot that steel comes from Pakistan so who knows where your money is going for all you know your hard earned cash could be supporting the Taliban I'm not racist all I'm saying is think about your purchase before you do it!

  • @PEREZCHOOCH the taliban can keep the money, i just want my knife.

  • @aweomae Yeah the knife looks cool but the steel sucks!

  • @PEREZCHOOCH actually i have this knife and i can assure you it is WELL made, i've chopped wood, carved, thrown, and gone camping with it. the only complaint i have about it is that the handle is kinda blocky and uncomfortable...i love this one but would more so reccomend Timber Rattler's Ranch King bowie. its made just as well as this one but the handle is awesome. its been through all the same torture+more and held up amazing, not to mention its great classic bowie look.

  • @aweomae I'll just stick to my COLD STEELS!

  • @PEREZCHOOCH what ever floats your boat, but i prefer Timber Rattler bowies.

  • @aweomae Timbers are pretty good but Cold Steel grew on me!

  • @PEREZCHOOCH so do you recommend them, because i never owned any Cold Steel products?

  • @aweomae Yes I do I highly recommend I think they have the best Tactical Fixed & Folding Knives, They use the best laminated steel out there called VG-1 San Mai 3 great stuff check them out on YouTube also allot of US Special Forces are starting to use their stuff like the COLD STEEL RECON TANTO, COLD STEEL SRK, COLD STEEL RECON SCOUT & COLD STEEL RECON 1!

  • Thats a knockoff of Gil Hibben's Rambo 3 knife. Don't buy trash, research your blades, they may one day save your life, do you really want a knife with balance, low grade steel and compromised toughness on your hip?

    THINK about what you post.

  • @atomichal Why would you want to protect yourself with a knife?

  • @tokiwartooth95 you use what you have have when you have it, don't carry trash.

  • @atomichal That's why I carry a handgun at all times, as apposed to a knife.

  • @atomichal it is cheap but some people dont have the 50+ dollars a hibben model cost.

  • @VeryKnifeGuy What can be wrong in "piece of steel". I can use a 2 incher for for self defense. People just like to overpay for things. I would definitively by this for that price. Any way, a "good" machete is the ultimate fighter and it may only cost $7.99 in your "local" hardware store.

  • @nestornegron I agree with all you said.

  • @VeryKnifeGuy all true

  • @VeryKnifeGuy u mean $1500+ right?

  • @atomichal You naive kid. It's only similar to the Hibben, and in fact precedes the Hibben by decades. This style of knife is seen in 60's biker movies, long before Hibben.

  • @atomichal you can chop trees with this knife stab animals if needed fend off a would be attacker some even through intimidation by the size of this knife alone. The trees you chop or animas or attackers than run away do not know or care that this knife was 30 bucks instead of $300. Unless you are in some professional knife fighting competion or in a job that you rely on a bowie knife day in & day out heavy use then what does the average person gain from name brand?

  • I think the loop on the sheath is extra large like that too so that it can fit a larger belt like a gunbelt or shoulder belt probably not meant for regular sized hold up pants belt so you can easily take the belt or strap off or put on.

    That's how i currently carry a bowie

  • Isn't making sure it's FULL TANG and solid handle and a fuller good enough in a 30 dollar tool

  • @atomichal

It does the same things as your premium cost knives do so why do you knock it.Are you upset you payed alot more for same kind of knife?

  • @atomichal Gil Hibben knives are not any better.I have owned both.Just because you pay more doesn't mean you get a better knife, just means you spent more money on something.Who's the smart one with that?

  • @atomichal i have one and its great. think about what you say! nobody came here looking for your help

  • Ha, "whatever this is" i heard it is a piece of shit sheath. Good review man. You seem like a cool dude.
