He didn't even fucking fight Fujita. Fujita was injured, wouldn't get the pay for the fight if he didn't enter the ring, so he did and the corner INSTANTLY threw in the towel. Wasn't a fight in the least bit.
Coleman fought 16 minutes before Igor, Igor fought 25 minutes that night.

@daltonj2317 Actually, he was ranked p4p #1 until he lost to Werdum. He beat Arlovski(ranked #2 in '09 when he beat him) and Sylvia(fresh off of his UFC HW title loss). He was supposed to face Barnett, but Josh couldn't pass a drug test. Brett Rogers was indeed another freak show fight, but the fact remains that Brett was actually ranked in the top 10 by respectable orgs and was 9-0 when he fought Fedor.

And more importantly, Emelianenko is the only MMA fighter ever one to not shit himself against Schilt's unmatched punching and kicking, and not hide on the ground in panic, and still win. Schilt was very early then, but already had the skill and strength to put the lights out on any groundfighter.

@domtar Sakuraba is a groundfighter by nature, but he can fight. I've never seen him conciously stall the fight by hiding on the ground.
Nogueira has (against Sem Schilt for example), even if he's not the worst by far. Think guys like Lawal, Tim Kennedy (against Manhoef for example) and some more wrestlers or bjj enthousiasts.

What made Fedor even more amazing was he is a pudgy 230 lb guy that has faced guys 50-100 pounds heavier. If you really think about it, if he had a sports nutritionist like many athletes, he probably could've dropped 15 pounds of fat without losing muscle. That would've put him at around 215 or so. That's the size of a small LHW or a large middle weight.. He would've cleaned house at LHW. He would've destroyed guys like Chuck, Rampage even Shogun in his prime, imo. @thecrazyoftheinsane he beat zulu and hongman choi in a comination of 2 and a half minutes, there 350 lbs each, i think sylvia was only like 40 lbs heavier and he got dominated in 36 seconds, rogers was around 285 i think so thats 50+ lbs heavier. but it don't matter that was in his prime, he would be a good 205er though, and could probably still beat 8/10 top heavyweights on a good night. dos santos lost to a 205 lber with a record of 11-6 whos never been in the ufc, thats y u don't play mmath
