Hillary is an incredible actress and it's brilliantly directed. Hillary cries with amazing realism. How her tear falls right over the spot her face is scorched at the end is so evocative of deep hurt. I can't really explain what I'm trying to say. The emotion is just so raw. My heart broke!

Hillary's good here. She also rocked in other films, like the one where she plays a French thief and then there are Million Dollar Baby and many others. Ah, the Gift. She was great there. Her husband was played by Keanu Reeves.

this is a good movie but fark it's so sad i cry in it everytime..i still am getting over the fact the those two men killed him and those other two people..it's really disturbing and something i'll never get over..i seriously hope they rot in jail. uhm also i was wondering do you reckon you could upload more scenes from this movie? i havent got the movie and have only seen it couple of times and would like to see more scenes that would be cool. anywhos cheers for this upload.

hey madamebutterfly, i feel the same about this movie. when i first watched it at the cinema i was so shocked and heartbroken. it's so powerful and i left the cinema feeling numb. for me it was the build up to something terrible happening. from the very beginning of the movie i felt uneasy knowing that who he was and the life he led would not be accepted by many people. he seemd such an idealist in this terribly fascist world. so vulnerable. the power of this true story has inspired many people.

Brandon wasn't a lesbian (his sexual orientation is irrelevant to this point), nor was he somehow afraid to be seen as such (there's only one transsexual lesbian here, and that's me :), and "pretended" he was a boy. He *was* a boy, that's how he identified, and how others did too. Let's respect this man's memory and his identity.

I lead a pretty normal life, as do most transsexual people I know. That's not to say there are no hardships: in Portugal, for instance, it'll probably take me some 4 years or more to get my ID changed, and I'll have to pretend I like boys, always pee sitting down, always wear skirts and dresses, and so on, so the judge lets me change my name. That's a bit difficult for a stone butch TS lesbian...

u can't get into trouble whatsoever for ur project regardless of the topic.Schools have to adhere to policies surrounding free thought & freedom of speech.By the off chance u were to get into trouble discussing such a topic then take it to the education board & get ur teacher into serious shit-they have no right to discriminate against topics in an educational environment.Each student has a right to discuss freely any type of subject matter provided it's within criteria for any given assignment
