Nice playing and tone. I switch neck pups on mine for Gibson PAF57 Plus, and put Thomastik Infield 0.12, flatwound strings, and I think it`s improve the tone. Please, check my videos.
thank you. you did interesting improvement, i just change strings with d'addario chrome (in the video i used common 011 electric strings) and the sounds changed a lot. unfortunately, i'm not using the joe pass a lot as i'm most a "rocker" :) but it is a great instrument in my opinion. i'm coming to visit your profile and videos
it is a great guitar, in my opinion. his value is much more than his cost, and there are several people i know and i see on the net with same opinion about emperor. i tried with different amps, and it sounds very well any time with or without any effect. a nice and affordable jazz guitar :)
really? because i want to buy a jazz guitar, with great tone, comfortable neck and i was thinking about the epi broadway... but now i'm thinking about buying this one... wich of the two do u think is a better buy? (sorry for my poor english, i'm french)
your english is just as good as mine, and much much better about my french for sure :) don't worry
i never tried broadway, but i saw several time (is the one used by Nick Colionne, that is the endorser for this model). it seem a great guitar, but it should cost much more that the emperor that is very cheap for the quality (i payed... not sure, but something like 450 euro) and for great finiture. it depends for you level too, for me a jazz guitar is an "optional" as i played more rock and blues
well, i was asking you because both are the same prize... i think broadway is around 500 euros. I'm a blues/rock player too, but i want to learn jazz, it's absolutly awesome to play! anyway, thanks about my english loll
jazz guitar is so tasty, i like acoustic sound in instrument (i play even electric several time without plug in an amp) and a big jazz guitar has great dynamic and a full sound to bass to high, at least if you've a decent amp.
i seek on the net, but i cant find a serious opinion about emperor joe pass vs broadway. the best part should be try it, but maybe you cant. i just can say that my joe pass has a very nice sound and a great finiture, and several people that try it confirm his value
Very nice !!! I just a Emperor too !!! I love it. Guitar Center told me they only had the light color though, but still looks good, and sounds fantastic.
thank you :) i bought a mic finally, but i have to use a webcam instead the photocam i used before (with internal mic), so that's the video problem :D
