@Pinkster40K Milliput is great stuff, but for strengthening the armature, your better off with a faster hardening - and much much harder - aluminium epoxy repair putty, such as Quiksteel. It stinks to hell, and is much more of an irritant to the skin then slower curing epoxy putties, but is incredibly strong.
Thanks for the info. I prefer these one besides strengthening armatures alone I can also use it for modeling parts, repairs, fixing cracks from baking and also filling up little holes from pitting during casting. I love it cause it's pretty versatile and DOES NOT STINK. :)
Cool! Are you using polymer bake Clay or air dry? I wonder if you can bake the sculpt with the plastic pieces and epoxy without melting/burning them. If you have tips on how to prevent this please share. Love your work.
Sometimes I will mix a recipe of Sculpey firm, sculpey original, super sculpey and sculpey III just to reach that consistency that I am going for. Again this is very personal preference, I swear by it, some people just don't like my recipe. This epoxy is heat resistance, however for the armature tube, it'll soften during baking, but I do not have much issue with it as it's enveloped in polymer clay and it hardens around the tube and contained within.
very cool

Milliput is great, however it lacks the strength for stiffening armatures and supports.
