Laura went on to better things on Broadway. She now has the regular female lead in "South Pacific." Max, unfortunately, has not done so well. Just a supporting role in a minor teen romance that hasn't been released yet. I fear he's doomed to obscurity.

Their contract was up :'( They were offered the tour but they turned it down because Max wanted to go to L.A & try and get into movie buisness & Laura... i'm not sure

The show closed a few months after Derek and Ashley took over as was scheduled. It's over. Max and Laura will fade into the obscurity whence they came. Derek and Ashley probably will too. The time of Grease has passed.

You'll never see Max again..he's not good enough to do another Broadway show, even if he did win a popularity contest to be in this one. Plus, every casting director who had to pay his dues will resent his quick ascent to the stage...

What I want to know is why Max's and Laura's contracts weren't renewed? Does anyone know? I know the reviews weren't great but the show was doing good box office. Were they considered that bad? I know most critics said Max wasn't believable as leader of the T-Birds but that wasn't his fault. All the other greasers were much older than him. Derek looks a bit older. I hope Max and Laura pop up somewhere soon. I'd hate to think we'll never see them again.

I know the excuses given. I know Max moved back to LA for movie/TV work. I hope he gets something soon. As for Laura, I think she'll never do as well as Ashley.

We're going to miss Max and Laura. I wish them the best of luck and hope to one day see Max and Laura On Dancing With The Stars. They were the best Sandy and Danny since the 1994 revivial of Grease. Good Luck in Life Max and Laura.

i do agree austin is SO cocky.

personally i didn't like derek or austin i only liked max and ONLY him.

i just hope derek get's some more voice lessons because he is going to have to hit some high pitches and i remember he would have problems with that on the show...his voice would crack. eeek.

yeah! i 100% agrre with you! Max was the ONLY Danny i will like on broadway and Derek has a squeaky voice and his voice cracks a lot too!
