  • Dude have u heard of Irish rail? ;-) plus the train sounded like she was struggling

  • @tonybonneyba do you think? I dont't think so. But then, either way - what she did was impressive - and far above and beyond what is expected of her. I am not familiar with Irish rail - sorry.

  • why is it clicking ?

  • @a217andy there was a bit of grit stuck to one wheel.

  • HONESTLY YOU WILL F*****ing love railworks

  • idea think of the strengh of a class 20 a class 37 and a class 58 bone all together! try it and film it ps TRY RAILWORKS PLEASE IT IS AWSOME I HAVE IT ITS AWSOME I HAVE DOWNLOADS ON UKTS JUST SEARCH FREIGHTLINER66610

  • now im not trying to say the city industrial 040 saddle tank shunter is the strongest but for its sise and price it is pretty strong i have it pulling a br mink van 4 wagons full of sand or scrap iron and a break van on my small one loco layout

  • just awesome

  • I wonder if the Super D could manage that train by herself. Or a 7F, for that matter :)

  • I wonder how strong VItrains class 47 is?

  • you should had put the mega box's at the front of all the wagons then all the others wouldnt fall in

  • @toffie702 it was more of a test this way you see - the extra tension on the couplings at the front of the train not only tested the strength of the loco but the strength of the couplings and even the strength of the wagons to a degree. I was just having fun basically :)

  • If it helps, I've heard the Hornby class 50 has a thing for huge loads, why not give it a go? :)

  • @Splop10 I bet I run out of track before it gives up! lol

  • Hi mate, I've just setup my channel and started a new layout if you have time to have a quick look. Love your vids btw

  • @jasonandjoesrailway I shall check it out now

  • And how heavy did the wagons weigh ?

  • @pmichel95 the weights of the wagons can be found in the video that was uploaded just before this one - testing the strength of the Black 5.

  • How many wagons did you drive with your Class 37 ?

  • pulling 45 cars with only 4 wheels powered is very impressive...i'll have to do a vid with my bachman china DF11...longest i've done was with 35 using 2 units..by i'll do a vid hopfully i can do it because i don't have as much room as u so i am a bit limited as to the length of the train..lol...but awsome vid just amazing..Class 37 is one of my favorite diesel units in the world!!

  • @EMDSD14R you mean 4 axels powered? (8 wheels)

  • @InterCity82 yes indeed even though ur class 37 is a 6 axle unit only 4 are powered right?. the center axle is unpowered..i think thts what u said in the video.

  • @EMDSD14R yup! You're spot on.

  • @InterCity82 awsome!! :-)

  • i really enjoy this video, and you correct they are some real pullers,LOL

  • Stumbled on your site via thrash videos...Last played trains when I was 12, mumble mumble years ago. Like you I switched allegiance to aviation, like engine noise, nothing beats a jet.

Your enthusiasm for your hobby is very infectous, I am sorely tempted to recover my loco's from my parents attic. Some gems in the box if I remember. One each of Classes 37, 47, 43, 55, 86, Mallard, a 9F, a Southern tank of some description and a random DB electric I was given.

    Keep up the good work.

  • @Dripfed thanks for the comment!

  • Thanks for the reply. i compleatly understand. i just thought i might of caught you before you had put them away. love the vids watch every one best channel on YouTube Keep them coming. :)

  • @BRclass37 LOL

  • @DELTICclass55 To 'strength test' every loco I have would take weeks lol - but rest assured I am working on something seriously cool.

  • @TheTrainBoy2012 To 'strength test' every loco I have would take weeks lol - but rest assured I am working on something seriously cool.

  • What is your email IC 82 for I am having a little trouble figuring it out (yes it may be obvious but I can't figure it out)!

  • What is your email IC82 for I am having a little difficulty

  • @rofes05 it's on my channel.

  • Wow that's quite something wil try not to damage any of your locos

  • @hornbymasterjosh123 she handled it fine - as if she was just pulling a few empty wagons really.

  • Nice one I had my bachmann 37 on 24 coaches around 2nd radius set-track corners !!

  • Wow the strength

also when will your website be up and running pls could you let me know thx

  • @lego10cool it won't be long. PROMISE

  • THE RIVAROSSI BIG BOY!

  • Thumbs up if you HAVE that class 37!

  • try the class 0 4 0 lol

  • Yeah.. Im buying one.... lol

  • Check out a video by a guy called A4mallardie. He's got a Hornby class 50 pulling 48 Mk3 coaches and (as far as I can remeber) a Bachmann class 20 hauling a train of freight wagons of a similar length to you own!

  • Hmmm ive wanted one of these for a while but have been put off from my bad experiance with my 47 but I think I may just get one now!!! Manby nect time you do a strength test put the train the opposite way round, heavy wagons right behind the loco and lighter ones at the end. That should stop it derailing :)

  • @ApacheBravo

Yes! thats what i was thinking!!!, much easier to carry a brick than drag one

  • @StrikeStarProduction Exactly mate :)

  • @ApacheBravo It was more of a test to do it this way - yet it (and the wagons) still coped. Simply stunning.

  • @InterCity82 Well at least you now have a benchmark for the next strength test, although I doubt much else will beat it. Maby a Class 47 by Vi Trains would be a good challenger? :)

  • what d'you meana you are not allowed to swear!

  • @danwarren97 kids watch my videos - it's a family channel lol

  • @InterCity82 LOL!!!

  • I've had my Vi 37 under some load, but this..wow Will :P its powerfull!

  • Wow! That is one strong brute! I have a feeling that the Hornby Class 60 is just as strong though because I saw a video of one pulling two Kato Dash 9's in a "tug of war" which both models were pulling against the Class 60, but the 60 dragged both models like they were just non powered wagons. I bet the Bachmann version doesn't have as much power.

  • @EWS60008 I have yet to test a Clas 60 but rest assured I have something very cool lined up for the future :)

  • LOL, for a model that's pretty incredible. God knows what that would weigh in reality

  • i want one

  • You could use your 9F that has 5 powered axles

  • @ossoyoos To 'strength test' every loco I have would take weeks lol - but rest assured I am working on something seriously cool.

  • Can you try the same test with your Class 56?

  • @TheBazza909 To 'strength test' every loco I have would take weeks lol - but rest assured I am working on something seriously cool.

  • that was alot for class 37 to pull but no problem.

  • @jaannetts16 yes - simply amazing really. Especially with the heavy ones at the back.

  • Please can you test out your small Bachman diesel shunter hope you know the one I mean thanks :)

  • @djairzee To 'strength test' every loco I have would take weeks lol - but rest assured I am working on something seriously cool.

  • you can try the "big boy" model from a company called trix. but it's very expensive

  • @sodorstudios I have heard about that, yes. hmmmmmmmmm

  • Holy crap. That is one STRONG diesel model! I think i was about as stunned as you were watching that pull that insanely long train as if it was nothing! Incredible!

  • @STbluefox I know! Simply amazing.

  • could it ever carry any more wagons?

  • @railflyer1 more than I can fit. So I have a new test lined up ;) more to follow

  • in your next vid use class 31

  • i have 2 Vitrains 37s and they arnt as strong as the Heljan 86 so if you want a strong loco the heljan 86 is far superier

  • Can't believe we are getting blessed with all these videos :D! Thanks Will.

  • @Hartsock91 haha! lol I'm glad you like them!

  • Great video, are you going to do any more strength tests?

  • @jacobporrett Rest assured I am working on something seriously cool.

  • nice one. Vi trains 37 are great doubled headed

  • @EasternRegionspotter an excellent idea! *evil laugh*

  • what the....! them dislikers have nooo apreciation

  • @TheMcooper17 like or dislike, it's still a view ;)

  • Yeeees, go the tractor!

  • You should see if all your 0-4-0s can pull that train togethor!

  • @TrailBlazer65 LOL hmmmmmmm

  • THE POWERRRRRRR!!! What have you got in that thing? A Nuclear reaction decoder? Awesome....

  • This was a great video. Although, I have a request. Can you use all of the wagons and test a class 47 by Bachmann. I dont have a 37 myself but my class 47 is really strong. Could you tst a class 47 as I only have 5 wagons.

  • @miniTopGear To 'strength test' every loco I have would take weeks lol - but rest assured I am working on something seriously cool.

  • you host, by far, the best Channel on Youtube!

  • and to add to the topic of power, which is the most powerful diesel loco in the UK?

  • @trainmaster5000 I have no idea but I'm sure someone must know. That and Wikipedia lol

  • @trainmaster5000 lol I wouldn't go that far but I'm glad people like the videos.

  • @InterCity82 I am certainly a fan.. and the reason why I think you are among the best is that despite achieving a large subscription to your channel, you take the time to respond to comments and in my opinion that makes a good channel great! looking forward to more great reviews from you!

  • Wow! You should do a loco tug of war tournament :P

  • That is amazing! And it was hauling the heavy things at the back aswell as all the others it's just amazing how powerful it is!

  • @Unision1 yup! It was definitely more of a test with the heavy ones at the back you see. Yet it still coped!

  • Cool will if I get another class 37 it will be one from vitrains also I want a ews livery to match 20 21ton wagons from bacmann but only trouble there's only tops no bogies or undercarriage

  • @gtacrusher123 what do you mean?

  • can you get a data logger and test the amps to the motor and see what she is drawing?

  • @Xantec lol rest assured I have something seriously cool lined up.

  • A nswgr 44 class by trainoram

  • Where did the blu tac go?

  • @thelocoshed that's a fair point i just noticed

  • @thelocoshed the layout is undergoing changes and so it's been removed for a while.

  • thums up if want that class 37

  • @sgugy1 its me replying to me (LOL)

  • add all your coatches to and see if it can pull it?!:)

  • @sgugy1 why is your comment a top comment when it has no ratings???

  • speechless!

  • Its would be best to place those five large stone wagons/gondola cars at the front of the train to reduce strain. I sometimes have to put my heavier intermountain made HO covered cars at the front of trains sometimes.

  • @dmncau it was more of a test for it doing it this way. Yet it still coped.

  • big boy is the stongest so buy one do a running in and try with it

  • @stephenbinkley To 'strength test' every loco I have would take weeks lol - but rest assured I am working on something seriously cool.

  • do a strength test with it Bachmann class 8

  • Nice vid

  • what about the 9f wonder if that could pull.wow the 37 is unbeleiveble

  • Very nice video! I'm amazed how much more power the class 37 has over the Black 5. One question though. Wouldn't it be more efficient to put the heavier cars near the engine? That way the weaker/lighter cars wouldn't have so much tension behind it, especially without much weight to keep them down. I don't know how a real railway would handle that situation, and I'm still new to the finer details of how to operate a model railroad efficiently and realistically.

  • @jawharp1992 it was more of a test doing it this way.

  • I wonder how many percy could pull Lol

  • @turbojermyhamondALT lol awwww not as many -sadly lol

  • does anyone know where can i buy it from the US?? because i want and need one lol

  • @Donnie67654 check out ehattons.com. they still come from the UK but the prices seem to be fair.

  • @SOU7000 ight my brotha or sista lol thanx

  • That's a really strong motor powering that Class 37. It really amazed me.

  • That is crazy, nothing on earth should be able to pull that many wagons! Great videos :)

  • BEAST

  • I like the Bachmann EWS 37 as well, merry christmas :)

  • @InterCity82 - wow, now that's what I call a rake :-)

  • @InterCity82 my class 37 was pulling 39 car and when it went round a sharp curve which was elevated the whole train started tilting but it didn't rip off track it stopped after 30 second of tilt

  • @InterCity82 you swore on the loco care outakes

  • Good video

  • Ok that is rellay cool. If a black five can't pull it why not try a fright steam locomotive like the 8F or G2S super D

  • @USAtrain129 To 'strength test' every loco I have would take weeks lol - but rest assured I am working on something seriously cool.

  • If it couldnt then there is one loco that certainly could...i give you the Rivarossi Big Boy!(or Bachmann HO DD40AX!)

  • @SuperJimjoe To 'strength test' every loco I have would take weeks lol - but rest assured I am working on something seriously cool.

  • do a full strength test with her, push her to her limit like you did with the black five

  • @BlurryBeaver I fill the loop of track before she becomes unable to haul the train. Rest assured I have more lined up for the future.

  • Make a class 66 video

  • how about a tug of war between 2 trains ?

  • @deejayy2k

Why would anyone want to have a tug war beetween two trains, the couplings would probably snap or the locomtovie would break

  • is that EWS Livery

  • Should get a Class 70 and try, speaking of which will you ever get a Class 70?

  • @m0dernrailways I have no plans to get a Class 70 just yet.

  • added to my favourites i think there is no other loco stronger than that class 37 from VItrains i have one in DRS Livery so i expect she can all that much too :P

  • were can i get one llike this with the yellow plates under the buffer beem?

  • @roloboy97 The Yellow Plates are Snowploughs, they come in the box with ViTrains 37's but you have to add them yourself.

  • @gaz318 okay can u tell me the name of a web site were i can get 1?

  • do you own a model shop or something, would love to have this many locos and coaches just cant afford it :(

  • @thescoobyandy lol no I don't own a model shop and if I did I doubt it would ever make any money lol

  • Liked & Fave! Great to see a fantastic Class 37 pulling a train that long and heavy! :D

  • I've seen a small 0-4-0 pull a 50 wagon load, there is a video on youtube of it somewhere. I might have a go with my little J94 as she is quite strong for her size.

  • @ClassA4Mallard Hornby's 0-4-0s are famous for being ridiculously powerful

  • @ekmad

Well, I suppose they are yes. But some of them are ridiculasly week

  • You should put all your rolling stock on and see if it will do it

  • @JimbobatMTmodel it would fill the loop of track. I am sure of it.

  • I want to see how powerful my class 47 is from VI trains, but I don't have enough track or rolling stock...oh well.

  • You should see how many coaches the Black 5 can pull.

  • @MachRacer4 probably more than can fit on my layout.

  • taxed gettin one of those

  • Agreed with thing2liv but WOW! definitely getting one ASAP!!!

  • you should of put the monster boxs at the front so that most wagons didn't have the whole 3kg of tension on them.

  • @thing2liv it was more of a test this way. Yet it (and the wagons) still coped lol

  • The model as in life is just STRENGTH on wheels.

  • @dilwich123 haha very true!

  • Maybe a class 70

  • @Liverpoolfcfever I have no plans to get a Class 70 just yet.

  • can you try this with your passenger coaches?

  • @123ps3boy In time, maybe yes.

  • I have many ViTrains 37s...they are simply AWESOME!!!!!

  • Great video, you need to try your Bachmann Dash 8. Tehy can really hual quite alot.

  • @tpe18509 I promise I will once I have plenty of wagons for it ;)

  • What runs better, a class 43 or a 4-vep?

  • @intercity112255 I haven't ran a 4-vep so could not comment.

  • prove otherwise eh?

just let me upload a video of my Bachmann Class 25 pulling 43 coaches with ease ;)

no but that 37's very strongi'm surprzed you don't do a load haul test with your models after you run them in? :P
