I like Tebow, I think he is a good guy and a tremendous competitor. But I just don't think he can be successful long term averaging 9 completions a game. He has to get better from the pocket/consistent.

I think that Tebows gonna be one of those things the rest of the NFL figures out next year. Remember the 11-5 playoff year the Dolphins had when they first brought in the wildcat? Remember the year after? I just can't see them improving much. I think the reason the Broncos are doing so good is he's energized the team and they want to play better. @cornfednebraskaneer The Florida Gators hid a lot of Tebows flaws by grabbing bad passes. Florida had a large offensive unit, Percy Harvin and the fastest defense in the NCAA. You could have put Chase Daniels behind that Florida offense and he would have broken a whole lot of records. When playing in the NFL, flaws will be exposed and a garbage Miami team that should have been manhandled almsot beat the Broncos. Lions just exposed him further.

@hxcpwnage999 A lot of people did. The Dolphins offense has been averaging 7 points a game before this game. Since then theri QB has improved, but not by much. THe Broncos implemented the option to cater to Tebows strenghts. Problem is he still struggles with even with his bread and butter option. Denvers D has been lights with the exception of the Raiders game. The option is not a long solution either.

Matt Moore is good, but not good enough for Miami to not look into a quarterback in the draft or free agency. @MrKUBRICKIAN The Bronco's did capitalized with thier favorable schedule considering a lot of the teams they're playing were on a downward trend. A lot of the times the Bronco's are down is mainly because Tebow struggles with his option and the defense has to step it up in order for Denver to get back in. It reminds me a lot when Jake Plummer aka the next Joe Montana made a lot of comebacks mainly because he struggled for a holf and made 4th quarter comebacks.

He did enough to lead Denver over Oakland 38-24 tonight, accumulating over 100 yards rushing, which is pretty rare for QB's not named Vick. The problem is that his pocket presence is pretty bad, and he had some bad throws missing wide open WR's. I'll admit that this needs to get better if he wants to be a solid QB

I think that Tebows gonna be one of those things the rest of the NFL figures out next year. Remember the 11-5 playoff year the Dolphins had when they first brought in the wildcat? Remember the year after? I just can't see them improving much. I think the reason the Broncos are doing so good is he's energized the team and they want to play better. It was like when Melo left the Nuggets, how good they did. I can't see the same results this year. How ironic they play in Denver too.

@cornfednebraskaneer The Florida Gators hid a lot of Tebows flaws by grabbing bad passes. Florida had a large offensive unit, Percy Harvin and the fastest defense in the NCAA. You could have put Chase Daniels behind that Florida offense and he would have broken a whole lot of records. When playing in the NFL, flaws will be exposed and a garbage Miami team that should have been manhandled almsot beat the Broncos. Lions just exposed him further.

I could be wrong, but I've seen plenty of QB's have rough rookie and 2nd seasons, yet put up hall of fame numbers eventually. Will Tebow do that? Maybe, maybe not. Tebow probably could play FB, RB, TE or WR. Or defense. That was my point about any coach wanting 22 Tebows - all 22 positions with his athleticism, drive, heart and guts. Its not like they're a terrible team, they've won 3 of their last 4, the loss being by 1 point to the Cowboys. Tebow's playing great, but I believe its more the team rallying around him than his actual play. He's making the team play better just by being out there. The defense was not like how they were when Orton started. Plus, he's one of the few NFL quarterbacks that could pull off an option.

@hxcpwnage999 A lot of people did. The Dolphins offense has been averaging 7 points a game before this game. Since then theri QB has improved, but not by much. THe Broncos implemented the option to cater to Tebows strenghts. Problem is he still struggles with even with his bread and butter option. Denvers D has been lights with the exception of the Raiders game. The option is not a long solution either.

Matt Moore is good, but not good enough for Miami to not look into a quarterback in the draft or free agency. Like I said, I think the defense has just rallied around Tebow coming in and all the hype, thats why they're playing so well. Hopefully for them they see how they can play and continue playing like that. And yes, I agree the option will not work for long.

@MrKUBRICKIAN The Bronco's did capitalized with thier favorable schedule considering a lot of the teams they're playing were on a downward trend. A lot of the times the Bronco's are down is mainly because Tebow struggles with his option and the defense has to step it up in order for Denver to get back in. It reminds me a lot when Jake Plummer aka the next Joe Montana made a lot of comebacks mainly because he struggled for a holf and made 4th quarter comebacks.

He did enough to lead Denver over Oakland 38-24 tonight, accumulating over 100 yards rushing, which is pretty rare for QB's not named Vick. The problem is that his pocket presence is pretty bad, and he had some bad throws missing wide open WR's. I'll admit that this needs to get better if he wants to be a solid QB

Bottom line is I don't think Orton is Denver's franchise QB (nor Tebow). I think they felt this season was done so why not throw in Tebow just to see what he can do. They have a lot of problems to fix.

I know what you're saying, though; Denver's defense has been pitiful; most of their issues were on defense. Ultimately, though, nobody cares much about a QB's stats when you keep losing games. As I said, I don't think Orton or Tebow are good enough to be Denver's long-term starter at the position, so I'm not sure any of this really matters.
