  • Who disliked this???

  • I agree with oxfordvalley01, but if you don't like this piece then, well you don't love music.

  • Who the hell didn't like this!!!!!

  • slow parts are too slow, fast parts are too fast.....

  • omg my sister's band class is playing this!!

  • I play Bass Bone in this song, only the fast parts are any good (in my humble opinion)

  • Conductor looks like a evil german doctor lolz

  • Caesiume, you are an idiot, and your " friend" Gregq96 also. Do you think that you are qualified to criticize the great BRAHMS?!?!?!?!

  • Interesting conductor. I like him. If someone knows his name, could you please tell me?

  • that director is psychotic

  • And then too fast

  • Too slow mo'fo'

  • This was supposed to be a dance! Yet everyone just sits down staring glumly at the orchestra.

  • Hot dog radio symphony orchestra!!!

  • I envy very single person who plays in an orchestra.

  • it's deffenetley good. I think that some of the slow parts are too slow, and this is also in a looney tunes episode

  • My Friend plays this song on the piano

    He's pretty good

    And needs a therapist

  • were playing this in my middle school's chamber orchestra.

  • Does anyone know what instrument or group of instruments his Hungarian Dances we're originally composed for?

  • 4-hand Piano.

  • really? I'm glad to hear that as I'm a pianist.

  • piano four hands

  • Love the faster parts, however the slower parts are... TOO SLOW!!!

  • couldnt have said it better myself

  • @ThePiano1991 This is not a school project man . Don't criticize masterpieces for they are perfect in their creators vision , you just say " BRAVO!!!! " . Even if you are right .... you just don't say out loud this kind of stuff after a performance like this one :)).

  • Location: Royal Albert Hall, London.

Part of the BBC Proms season, hence the casual attire of the concert-goers.

  • Maestro Jaarvi is not quite Kleiber, however I've yet to find a performance of his that is not worth listening to.

  • cool..

    i'm playing that in violin

  • Oh! I'm so happy to be ignorant! (Otherwise I'd have to read your bloody comments.) I lLOVE this! Thanks, L:D

  • which is this place where this is conducted?

i have seen this hall so many times, but never got to know where it is. Its also in the movie Godfather.

  • Fun arrangement

  • hahah i played this in Oregon all state,

2nd bass,i think it was arranged though.

    so.

    but we sounded hella good.

  • Hmmm... I played this at Maryland All State...

  • wow very nice dance!! flute also sounds awesome!!

  • Que energia y que caracter tan preciso para esta obra.

  • i just played this with my middle school honors orchestra1 it was hard at first, but really fun!

  • Wonderful!!! I think that Paavo Jarvi will be one of the best conductors in the world in few years.. maybe the best.

  • I can't understand anything when Javri conducts!!! I've never heard of him too...

  • Mmmmm... and what's your opinion about Cecchetto? (youtube: Hungarian Dance 5 - 6 or 4, or conducting Mozart, Piazzolla, Morricone ecc.)

  • Cecchetto- Wow. I have no idea what time signature he is trying to convey either. The baton is supposed to conduct the beat; not stab people to death in the front desks! But now I've seen Cecchetto, I appreciate Javri more. :)

  • This performance is more "alive!.

  • infact.. tho whole orchestra seems to be following his bodily movments (not the baton, his dancing)

  • rofl im playing this is wind ensemble and it's sooo funn. whos this conductor? he's hilarious!

  • i played this at international music camp (first violin), and i LOVE this piece it's so AMAZING and tons of fun to play!
