Terrific game, although the levels are a tad overwhelming at times. In reponse to your qualm regarding the aiming system, you can actually switch on the auto aim function in the options menu which makes things much easier. Very well made title all in all.

Best graphics in a 5th gen console game and amazing gameplay as well. WAAAY ahead of it's time. It is even more advanced than call of Duty and Halo combined. MASSIVE levels and challenging difficulty. Also the music kicks ass. Best FPS.

Yeah, Turok 2 is a great game, with huge, intricate level designs, great graphics, good controls (I think the Turok-style controls are fantastic, some of the best console FPS controls around), and more. There's only one issue -- the game is HARD. Save points are infrequent, the enemies are tough, it's easy to die, and you have limited lives... the game is brutal, harder than the other N64 Turok games. And that's why I'd probably rather play Turok 3, even if 2 is really good.

The framerate issue when you kill someone like at the end of this video actually just makes it look like it goes into slow motion and looks actually kinda cool so I don't mind that. I love it when you guys review N64 games, keep 'em coming man.

@mkocja5a Not really, no. Turok 2 was one of, if not my favorite FPS growing up, putting up at least 50 hours into this game yet I can still admit that its been surpassed quite a bit in later generations.

@AudioBetaDelta yeah, bioshock's good, but most fpss today are eather generic, grey & brown monotony or they have identity crysis, but the things i miss the most are the over the top, unrealistic action and cheats. remember back then when you did something cool, you got a cheat that unlocked an insane gun? :D what do you get today? an achievment :/ i pretty much gave up on fps this gen, but at least we have some cool non-shooter fp games like prime 3 & portal, i take those over bf any time :P

@mkocja5a I don't consider portal a fps more like a fpp (first person puzzle game), Another game I liked is Mirror's Edge (because of it's unique style, the fps part of it sucks -_-' (thank god they didn't force it into the game) ). Yes I remember the old UT you could do cheats like 999 ammo for the redeemer, you don't see stuff like that in current gen fps games =/

Hooray for windows 7 I can still play those games on it, so I don't have to use a virtual windows OS.
