I found a mushroom biome in my survival world by accident not too long ago, I didn't even know about it till then. The only down side is that it is thirteen minuets away (real time) from my spawn point by minecart :(

Ok guys, trust me make a new word name it Mushroom Biome (with capitals) and in the seeds just type in 4 (just 4) and go north from the swampy/foresty part and u should find it!!!! :)

@FlameExecutioner if your to bedrock level underneath theres sort of like a realm that cant be explored which is also the effect of the end portal in 1.0.0. i hope that sums it up for you.

If you milk them you get mushroom soup. Shear them and you get random mushroom. A glitch can happen too. If they are sheared they can split into two normal cows.

The black dots floating up could be spores, implying that the "grass" is actually a fungus. Also I like Mooshrooms, they amuse me and now I'm wondering if I can turn a regular cow into one by using a red mushroom with one.

Given that the biome is so small and so rare I'm thinking it;s more for shits and giggles than a 'serious' part of adventuring. But hey, I could be wrong.
