Ipod Will Not Sync With Itunes

@bleachbabe05 and TATELANDDOG: What I did was highlight all of the music I wanted to transfer in my iTunes, and then Dragged it to my iPod into the playlist I prepared and it transferred. However, I never found a way for it to sync through the normal sync process. I'm losing faith in Apple's ability to function normally.

Well my ipod aint syncing at all. Like i have a very old Blue Second Generation Ipod. Yes i do steel music from here an on to itunes but i never had a problem til yesterday. It just stop working. I have deleted itunes and downloaded it again and again twice an still nothing. Sooo whats going on.

This is not the problem. My ipod is connected to my computer, and Itunes has my ipod as connected. I then hit sync, itunes goes through the sync process and then shows it's complete. HOWEVER!! when I look at all of the the things I added to my itunes, NONE of the music is added to my iPod.... wtf????? this should NEVER happen considering how high end and top notch Apple considers itself.

my itunes say preparing sync then it says its finished syncing after 10 seconds and it didnt sync anything and yes i have stuff to sync over.

Thanks a million PC Fix! I recently purchased a used iPod Video for a very reasonable price and couldn't get it to sync with iTunes so I assumed the worse--a possible hardware problem. So I decided to Google in search of a troubleshooting solution and happened to stumble across your instructional video. Can anyone help me ? ive got a very weird problem. my ipod syncs fine but recently it has decided to pick out randomly some videos to not sync. ive already tried resyncing,deleting and readding the videos to itunes and dragging and specifically dropping them into the ipod. it refuses to sync these videos. it chosses these videos completely at randomly btw because most of the others are syncing fine.

Mine wouldn't sync either, but I read somewhere that if you have a lot of connections on your USB ports, it could cause a conflict. I had a flash drive which I removed from the USB port on my laptop and itunes synced perfectly...weird, but it worked for me.

Maybe your suggestions helped some people but this is the 2nd time that my ipod was unable to sync w/ my itunes. No offense, but thankfully the first time I found a video that explained how all you have to do is press the middle and top button to reboot your ipod. That always works for me
