If anyone is interested, I have a facebook page relating to this, it is Parental abduction, why isn't it a crime in Australia. I am trying to get enough support to appeal the laws so this crime is punishable. All support would be appreciated.
I have had this done to me by my ex, it has been 5 months since I have seen me son, who turned 1yr this week, 5 months in a 1yr's life is huge, but for me it feels like an eternity. Thank you for telling your story Brian.
Parental abduction needs to be taken more seriously then it has been. Just because the child is with their parent doesnt mean their not in danger. I feel so bad for any parent who has to deal with their children being kidnapped
Going through the same thing with my child. Her mother ran off with her. Then by the time I found her she had a cute little system of loopholes in the law and tactics to keep me away. It's been over 5 years since I have spent more than 5 minutes with my baby girl. This is one of the worst crimes in the world! God bless everyone that is going through it.
Your story is so familiar to me, my daughter was snatched from me in 1973, in L.A., from school, all you say is so familiar, please look on UTUBE for Deanna Pino, she has a video of when they were on the run in Germany and he let go of her hand(intimidation tactic?) my daughter and I were reunited when she was 25, its been a long road, she is now 41 and we have a good relationship, but it took a lot of work. Thank you, again.
