Olbermann was exactly what was needed under Bush, but he's not as relevant anymore. Since there's only about 1/5 as much crime and coverups in washington now as under Bush, so he only has material for one show a week, the rest gets filled out with hyperbole and repetition.

Expressing outrage over the rationale for a war being entirely erroneous is hardly "bitching over the past". What solutions does Olbermann offer? I 've heard something along the lines of "the quickest and safest end to this war", but then we can't do that, because those who insist on contuining the war want to do so not for genuine concern for national security, but nothing more than an inflated, jingoistic, psuedo-american ego.

It's called walking the line. It's all to easy to plough forward with changing the world but you cannot ignore the past or the reasons why you do what you do.

Keith is motivated by a desire to change because the American government lied en masse to the world. Olbermann offers a solution, impeach Bush and arrest him for war crimes, leave Iraq and use America's standing in the world to help and build not destroy for imperialistic power
