@85Aheadstix I'm familiar with his work in Dimmu Borgir :) I like Gene's and Nick's work equally, and they are both ferocious drummers and great personalities. The fact that Gene's a lefty drummer gives me a different point of view... There's no need for comparing them :D

That's a good tribute band with famous and talented players from different bands... But nothing fills in the shoes of the original thing. Even if they have a better sound in 2000's compared to '98...

Plus '98 concert was perfect with small mistakes here and there... If you have watched the Ultimate Death Tribute DVD there are also some awful mistakes here and there... that's a natural thing in live performances.

bueno viejos no se ustedes este tipo hizo un buen trabajo aun que de principio no canta muy bien en la primera cancion se dedica mucho a gritar las liricas en vez de cantarlar pero a medida que va avanzando va mejoran y agarrando el hilo para cantar los mas similar posible a chuck sin embargo me parece que Matthew Sweeney hace un trabajo respetable aqui pero igual no se compara con el dios Chuck cantando pero igual aplaudo a estos chamos por este trabajo

@theartofbut Compadre, la idea de esta presentación es un tributo, es homenajear a chuck, no que le saliera igual, si chuck es único.

Además el tipo le pone fuerza, le pone emoción, siente la música y la misma admiración de nosotros por chuck y eso lo transmite en el escenario y se agradece demasiado, esto es lejos el mejor tributo a Death y Chuck que ha existido.

I agree with BornUndivine.Sounds better than actual Death's last performances in 1998.And the vocals are way better, Chucks high pitched shriek was awful.This guy is almost perfectly mimicking the vocal style from Symbolic era.Nice.
