My brother works as a whale watcher, he tracks them, counts them, gives them names and so on. I think his facts are quet good. True for each whale it will take time for him to grow up BUT there are 1000's of whales that are born every year and but together what we kill and how many are born the birth rate win's with high numbers.

Japan, Iceland and Faroese kill maybe, Maybe 300 whales a year out of more then 1,5 millions that exist. One a very good year we kill 400 when every year newborn whales are few 1000's.
@Maryjoends do you know the meaning of the word "propaganda". think real hard about that word before you say anything about Whaling in the Faroe Islands. get your facts straight, if you want to know the truth about whaling ask someone who lives in the faroe islands. don´t rely only on pictures and video,because they only show you what they want you to see. remember that you have to hear both sides before before you judge anyone, I´m not saying that you have to like it or hate it, just ruminate.
