there is no historical evidence? there never really was a true meaning. if you were a pharaoh, would you even bother building pyramids as a grave? pyramids are one of the only primary geometrical figures which end with a sharp tip at the top. no ones sure why there are pyramids, but we do know that there are 'crystal" pyramids underwater in many locations around the world. so there has to be something with them. if you don't believe me with those underwater pyramids, go do some research on them.

Some even used as temples to worship the gods, they're structure was intended to ascend to heavens, earlier versions were shaped like staircases, what makes the Egyptians so different was the sharp points on all sides but that was simply to align with the sunbeams, what the egyptians believed where the pathway to heaven.
