man that look so great, i live in Vietnam and i have a Lada Niva ( i love it, man it has taken me on some great trips) but this thing is like a Volkswagen Bus (great for camping) and 4X4!! I see lots of them here used by the military or government, i am going to try to get one for Sure!

Both the 1960s VW Transporter and this UAZ lack power! for off-road it makes it harder. that's their only problem. (and nosy engine.. stupid VW air-cooled) :-(

But at least the UAZ is 4x4 while the VW's are rear-engine,rear-wheel (and the new VW Eurobus are rubbish)

the best van is old Mercedes 310D like Hong Kong police used before but for common (and small ones like this) is mitsubishi delica 4x4, however not as cheap as soviet vans!

These cars owns! i have once tried to import a new UAZ 2206 to Denmark, but did not succeed because of some stupid special rules concerning category N2 vans. Maybe i will try later with a used 2206 and see if that helps. Nice car all trough, nice to see it tear ass in its natural environment.
