Hi, I have a arowana i just want to know does that harts, do they have teeth? also my arowana kind of scared, i hand fish (shrimp and small fish you bought at fish market) on a string, he jumps and eats them, but when i go near the tank he kinds of moves away and dont come near me. if you are expert on fish, how do i get him to be like the one in this video?
@psychoninja911 they do, thin rows of serrated shards, I bled when mine bit me, and I also bled when my flowerhorn bit me. Not painful, but just a little prick with a big force behind it!
i used to do that with my arrow and my giant oscars...it takes a certain level of dumb to do it...but we never learn...i would be more pissed about some random dude putting his nasty ass finger in my motherf**kin' pond...
nothing is wrong with that silver..a wiggling finger looks a lot like food to the fish...as far as aggressiveness, they are aggressive eaters, and will eat almost anything they can fit in their mouth.
no. my arowana (before it died) killed everything we put in it. Carps, Maroon sharks, and even Pacus. the only thing it didn`t hurt was the red tail catfish
yea it doesnt hurt. it just surprises u when they pop out of the water really fast. when they get used to the owner, they always expect food in the hand.
my pet shop owner says to feed my silver arowana shrimp with very small quantity of multivitamin tabs stuffed inside it to grow fast. any expert opinion from ur side please?
i used to be afraid of feeing the fishes, cuz there were 2 large silver arrows, and i was only 9 or 8 y/o! i had to stand on the chair. I drop the food when they're away from me... :D

@ouinonyes I almost got one but my 90g wouldn't be enough for one in a short amount of time...
I got 2 tiger oscars instead... I think I have plenty of time before I need to upgrade.

"coldwater" fish can live quite fine in warmer water, as long as it is oxygenated properly.
