At the begining I wanted to upgrade to a canon 5d mark II but finaly I think I'll win more by simply buying a K-7. I'll still have the same comfort of use as my old k100 + all my lenses will be compatible. The only thing I wonder is : How noisy is the shutter? How responsive it is? I'll know it after buying one.
Beautiful camera. I have an Olympus E-500 which I still like a lot, and a Sony A900. Now I am seriously drooling over the Pentax K7 with couple of DA* lenses... I applaud people at Hoya company to keep Pentax brand alive and well.

I believe contrast detect focus in live view actually IS an option on this camera.
