These types of cats are too cool. My grandpa was always building stuff. One afternoon, on a whim, he decided to mount a large electric motor and 12 volt battery to a very old Radio Flyer type wagon for us little ones. Good days.
thats right lil jon I respect people like you teching the young ones to take on the tradition of hand crafting .makeing something out of nothing Im looking forword for more videos out of you and your work Im in lasvegas I do auto body work my dads a old school crafter and im picin up his scraps to pass on to my kids some day ....gr8 shop
hi my dad is just like you and i have followed him in his footsteps i love bikes i have my own welder bench drill and all the equipment and i do fabrication and im 14 good thing to learn
I feel much the same way about knowledge, it's to be shared and taught to some of the younger craftsman growing up today. In this world of computers, CNC and all the automation, we're losing lots of the "old school" skills our fathers and grandfathers did daily. I enjoy teaching what I've learned to those who're willing to learn.
I'm 34 and have been searching for an old timer to teach me the tricks of the trade. I've taken more classes than I care to say. Every time I found someone that knew this trade they would rather do the work them selfs then show someone how to do it. So I've had to learn from mostly watching people and searching the Internet.
It's good to know that someone is trying to keep good'ol American ingenuity alive by letting people learn how to make things with their hands.
What a Dad to have growing up! It was always very interesting and exciting in the household/garage! My Dad is the "older" version of Jessie James! He can make anything from scratch! If you need anything fixed or made he is your man!
Dad can walk the walk and back it UP BIG TIME! My Brother Jay is following Dad's footsteps and making his own footsteps in life as well- ALL SELF TAUGHT thru hard work and dedication-, well obviously learned some from Dad-! Shelly- Daughter
I respect Little Jon's Philosophy about teaching others and wish everyone with knowledge, experience and passion for creativity would pass it along as well!

@ShellyJohnson1000 We are proud of your Dad, too. He's one of our best Garage Shop Fabricators. Hope to see you at Sturgis.

Thanks for the comment. It is imperative that this knowledge and these skill sets be passed down from generation to generation.
