You may think because your child was adopted as an infant that there was no trauma or they should be "ok" Not so, dont minimize early life trauma. It has a huge impact on later behavior. This style of parenting has brought so much healing to our family where nothing else worked. It is life changing and healing! Healing can come for the angry defiant child and the overwhelmed parent. Give it a try you have nothing to loose and healing and love and hope to gain. There is hope!!!!

Mostly ,rape related- PTSD and ptsd is what you're referring, too. You are correct. If trauma exposure happens in childhood mainly 12-14. It causes Glands part of the brain to stop growing. These people do not have the brain's to treat.
